I’m very disappointed with the cleanliness of this hotel room. When we arrived, the room was clearly not properly cleaned. There was a pile of white powder in the corner by the bed, along with hair and food crumbs on the floor. The bathroom was also in poor condition, with hair on the floor, a dirty mirror, and the toilet seat left up.
It got worse when we looked closer—behind the mattress and in front of the headboard was extremely filthy. The baseboards were dirty, and there appeared to be dried vomit (or something similar) behind the toilet. The headboard itself had dried splatter on it, which was very concerning.
We called guest services, but were told the hotel was fully booked and that the room hadn’t been properly cleaned due to recent renovations. While they said they would credit our Hilton account with points the next morning, that never happened.
Overall, this was an unacceptable experience, especially for a hotel of this standard. Cleanliness should never be compromised, regardless of renovations or occupancy.
