My room was in need of painting and was rough around the edges, but it was clean , the ability to use 4 or 5 different pools very close to hotel, and easy to access was very cool. I was surprised pool was not at the property l booked but in the end it really did not matter. Super large room , pretty quiet , it was fair for the price , and you can see they are working at improving it .

Excellent location, a few steps on the beach. This is 2 star motel, so my expectations were met. Very very old stuff in a room. But was clean. I saw a tiny ants near kitchen one day, but guy with fumigator came next day and they were gone. Breakfast was poor. Every day something was missing. At the first day we came and took 2 bananas (one for me and one for my daughter), a lady that works there took away one of them banana from me and said:" This banana belong to me, because it is a last one and I do not have bananas any more for you". Honestly, I was shocked:)

good: - clean linens - location bad: - the room #1702 was very worn out - the bathroom ventilation did not work - the room had VERY strong smell of floor sanitation liquid. We could not get rid of this smell after keeping the door open for couple of hours. Probably the housekeeper tried to suppress the bathroom smells with too much sanitation liquid. - the breakfast did not have good healthy choices - the breakfast room was overcrowded - the guest queue for breakfast was very long around 8:10 am - there were no free tables for breakfast We selected this hotel because of the included breakfast but we had to leave without breakfast.

Nothing to make a coffee with the coffee machine. Air conditioning very loud. No hair dryer in the room. Confortable bed and are clean. Chairs and table outside is nice to have.

Il y a des blattes partout sous le lit,DANS le sofa lit. Le climatiseur fait un bruit de moteur d avion. Les chambres n ont aucun rapport avec les photos . Tout est une tromperie. On a demandé le remboursement mais ils ont refusé. Ils nous ont proposé une autre chambre,mais les blattes se promène d un appartement à l autre par des conduits apparents. Le check on prends une éternité car le bureau gère plusieurs blocs et les 2 personnes a l accueil font plusieurs tâches à la fois . Ils sont très désagréable. Ils nous ont dit que c est expédia qui ferait le dédommagement, et expédia dit que c est l hôtel... Arnaque totale.. Expédia le note 8/10. C est de la fausse représentation et c est absolument faux! Booking dit la vérité à ce sujet: il le note 6/10 et fait apparaitre les commentaires selon la date.. Je vais donc me plaindre à la protection du consommateur. Ce n est pas normal d être traité ainsi. Expédia m a proposé 90 $ en dédommagement pour une prochaine réservation alors que l on a perdu 2 nuits. On a été dans le Corsa Hollywood beach.

The room was smelly as if an odor needed to be covered up intentionally. The walls floors entire room was dirty and worn. Bugs throughout the day, a musty moldy air about the place. Locks were flimsy, water pressure was horrible. Staff in the office were somewhat cordial outside of that other staffers not personable at all. It’s all about money of course with this company. I checked out early and checked into the Marriot Bonvoy!!! Now that’s a resort, beautiful!!! I would never recommend Hollywood By The Sea!!!

Great location close to the beach. Otherwise, not recommended. Old, dated, slippery floors, musty smell. Check in is at a different location. Worst issue was that the refrigerator was old and every hour, a loud pumping sound would occur that would last for about 30 seconds, waking us up from sleep.

The room was disgusting. It was the worst place I have ever seen. We took pictures to post a detailed description on all travel sites to warn other unsuspecting travelers. After seeing the room, we immediately returned to the office which was located in another building. The staff was awful even during check in. They also said they could not refund our money even though we were only in the room for 10 minutes. They offered us another room. If the management books people to stay in a room like that, how could we trust any property in their care? Against my better judgement, we went to see another room. Upon arriving at the other room, the woman's key wouldn't work. Another worker tried his key. It also, wouldn't work. They couldn't get the door open. We left. We tried to stay at another small place on the beach. This took hours of our vacation time. The independent small hotels were booked. After finding that other corporations bought up most of the other small places, we ended up staying at a chain that was way too expensive for us. After one night there, we had to switch hotels. For the next few nights, we stayed at a less expensive chain. It was still beyond our means. This experience caused us to lose time and money. Unbelievable. It is awful that corporations bought and neglect the small mom and pop hotels.

The apartment was on the second floor but it smelled dingy and moldy. Towel racks were missing. Full kitchen but no plates, glasses, silverware or anything to make it usable. Dripping shower. Dirty air vents. No room service unless you pay for it or wait every three days. Hard to find the office on the property. Parking is not free.

I showed up and the office was closed. I called the number on the sign and no one answered or returned my phone calls. The office is located blocks away from the property and the location is questionable.

Kitchen faucet was hanging and spray button missing. The fridge made a loud screeching noise, studied like someone was screeching. Although the back door was latched, the top part was inclined outward. There’s been an attempt to close it with a drywall screw. Oh!! The same window does not have a cover. I had to place a towel to cover the window. Lastly, it was inconvenient to have to go check in at another location. This should be on this hotel’s heading. One positive comment is that it’s close to Hollywood Beach.

The line to check in was 1hour and 10 minutes. Got my room key and walked 2 blocks to find the key was not programmed correctly. Walked back to get new key. The staff was nice but overwhelmed by the amount of people checking in. It’s the owners fault to have so many properties checking into a very small office. The room was not maintained and minus blinds in the bedroom.

We arrived at property and had to go two blocks away to check in. The room is not stocked with normal basic hotel condiments such as coffee. Not even a glass or cup to drink a coffee. Kitchen with absolutely nothing to make your stay efficient. Then the toilet wouldn’t flush which led to a clogged toilet. I tried calling numerous times, and call was answered and then disconnected followed up with another callback in which was disconnected. This happened 5 times. I messaged property and did not ever get a response. My husband had to walk down two blocks to get a plunger. We had a bum fridge that made screeching noises, do had to unplug it because it was happening every 30 minutes while we slept. We found out the fridge was in his room prior, and he complained and they switched his out and it was put into our room. You just expect a certain level of accommodations, and it was not up to par.

There was no coffee pot - at least I couldn't find one. I brought instant coffee with me so it wasn't really an issue. There was long hair in the bathroom floor - I don't have long hair so it wasn't mine....

Advertised as queen bed plus sofa bed but it’s just a sofa - thats broken, with no sheets. Left one towel for three people and there is no office on the property to get more. Quality of furnishings and fixtures is lowest end. Embarrassing start to our family trip.

There's no price Price-value connection here. Comfortable place on a side street, worth $90-95, not $162. Comfortable, clean and BASIC. Boardwalk reminiscent of Jersey Shore, Wildwood comes to mind

When we arrived we were told that there were no rooms available for us, even though we had already paid. We were offered rooms at another facility that the owner managed or our money back. We felt as though we had little to no choice but to except the lower grade accommodations. The people were very nice and it was right on the beach but it felt like a bait and switch.

Great place
Great location. Close to the beach! Nice large area with separate living and sleeping rooms. Full kitchen with pots, dishes, etc. Updated decor. Would definitely stay here again.

This is the 2nd time we stayed here within 4 years. Everything was fine except the air conditioning would not go lower than 75 degrees. I would have liked to have set it on 72 which is more comfortable for sleeping. I adjusted the thermostat, but it didn't seem to make a difference. Room: Paris

Hollywood by the Sea Hotel Hotel/apartamento tipo motel que a pesar de tener 2 estrellas es mucho más amplio que cualquier hotel de 3 estrellas o más. Tiene una zona de estar con sofá, TV y mesa, una cocina completa y un dormitorio amplio con otra TV con infinitos canales disponibles. Gran cantidad de armarios que se agradecen si la estancia va a ser larga. En el porche exterior dispone de otra mesa donde se puede desayunar o disfrutar una agradable velada al anochecer. Zona realmente tranquila sin apenas tráfico, está situado a unos metros del paseo y la playa donde hay bares restaurantes y comercios turísticos, un lugar de turismo tranquilo y familiar en contraste con el bullicioso Miami. Hay disponibles toallas, tumbonas y sombrillas para la playa. También hay una barbacoa a disposición de los huéspedes. La pareja que se encarga del establecimiento es muy amable y está dispuesta a solucionar cualquier necesidad que se presente. Lugar perfecto para pasar desde días o semanas en Hollywood Florida además dispone de zona de aparcamiento imprescindible en esa zona
