We checked out of the hotel within an hour of checking in. Pillows had numerous stains, some of which looked like splattered blood. Bugs lined the windowsill, inside. The pool looked lovely from afar -- but we didn't stay to use it or the restaurant, Lola. The staff was excellent, understanding our dissatisfaction and refunded our payment in full.

Such a great spot for a short stay.. affordable, comfortable, and very well-kept. The building itself is a bit older, but everything is clean and clearly well maintained. You can hear a bit of noise from outside at times, but nothing that felt disruptive, though I imagine it could be a little busier during peak season. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the reception area feels fresh and updated. A highlight for me was the restaurant, Lola on the water, delicious food, a beautiful pool, and a relaxing canal view that really elevates the experience. Only 5 min walk to Pompano Beach! Overall, I’d rate it a solid 9/10. A great choice if you’re looking for a charming independent hotel.
