my room was not clean upon arrival, there were visible stains on the comforter when i pulled it back to examine it. The door frames were rusty especially in the bathroom, the toilet water had a very yellow beige color after every flush. The carpet:hallway smelled old and the last two days the hallway smelled like sewage, or a dirty diaper. the pool area /deck was uncleaned. there was a chip variety box there for the first two stays of my stay. i finally tilted front day desk. when i was at the pool staff came to clean and had a huge attitude you could hear her saying somebody’s called and said it was trash !! it was and a beer can right next to the pool that had been there for at least a day. I was not clean, it was very mid for the amount of money my stay was. I was itchy my entire stay. i went to walgreens and bought lysol and lysol wipes. very underwhelming. Tommy and the ladies who prepared and set up breakfast were the good parts. I felt like I booked a howard johnson or red roof inn. I also think the pier bar overcharged me, but when i saw my receipt I was to over my stay to even argue.

The staff was great and the rooms were clean. The breakfast was great, but the layout is horrible. People were constantly standing in each others way because they were waiting for something to cook while others were simply trying to get plates or silverware. If the layout was rearranged, it would be fantastic. The pool and hot tub were nice to have but could use some cleaning. The best part is being so close to the beach and the Pier. There are a lot of restaurants and bars within walking distance. Overall, we were very happy with our stay.
