"We enjoyed use of kitchen /dining space, which included tea, coffee, and proper dishes and utensils. We could store extra food in the refrigerator. The warming closet to hang up wet clothes was amazing. Bed was very comfortable. View of lake was lovely. Host was attentive. Great stepping off point for hiking."

"Room was spacious and had good views. Was very clean too.
Breakfast was good with a varied selection.
Cleaning staff and the europea girl who checked us in were very helpfull and friendly.
Would have given 5 stars but for the receptionist on the following day who never looked up on our various trips through reception and gave no ackowledgement when handing the key in"

"Although we enjoyed staying at the hotel it is important to realise that there is no on site parking, it seems there is normally street parking 50 metres up the road, not sure how it easy it would be to park "in season". Also you need to be aware that the rooms are up a steep flight of stairs, totally unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues. Saying that, the hotel is convenient to the port, the price is reasonable, the staff are friendly and the food in the bar is very good. The bar is...
