“Lots of good, more recent replenishments, like the bathroom, the dining area, and the great swimming pool, hot tub, saunas. Nice well-tended gardens. Great service. But a lot of windows painted immovably shut. And the food was a big let-down. We arrived on Sunday for Sunday dinner at 8, couldn't eat our mains. Breakfasts had the feel of having sat a long time after cooking, bacon burnt to a crisp on 2 out of 4 breakfasts.”

“Stopped overnight in this nice little Hotel on the way to Mull from the Midlands. The staff were friendly and professional and the hotel cleanliness was excellent. The food was first class. We had and evening meal in the restaurant and the breakfast was excellent. If we had to find a small gripe it would be with the bathroom in room 112. The floor tiles had had their grout worn away leaving rough edges and there was a raised screw on the threshold between the bathroom and the bedroom. The shower...
