The property owner seemed very sweet and reasonable to work with. Check-in was easy. The facilities are older, which is why they are as reasonably priced as they are given the proximity to Main St.
Our biggest issue was our fire alarm went off in the middle night for no reason. I had to take it down and remove the batteries. At that point, I was awake and could not fall back asleep for about 2 hours. It through our whole day off. Because of the mishap, I simply requested a later check-out since we were so far behind. Unbelievably, the unkempt employee lost her mind on me and started raising her voice and saying it did not matter because in the middle of the night after resolving the problem on my own, I should called the hotel emergency line to report it. I am assuming she thought I was lying to get a slightly later checkout, I guess... It was so weird! She finally called the owner who was very sweet and accommodating. Honestly, she needs to fire the employee, and I don't say that lightly as someone who employs 30 people. You simply can not treat guests that way. It was unacceptable.
Other than the one incident, our stay was fine. Again, for the price and location, the accommodations were reasonable.
