“Reva picked us up at 2:00 am. She was incredibly kind and informative. In addition, she dropped and picked us from the town center. Breakfast was provided on the patio outside our room. We will be using this hotel again soon. We were also able to store a suitcase at her place. Her place is close to the airport. However quite far from anything else.”

“We stayed for one night in Oct. 2026. We had a junior suite with a private plunge pool and lots of space. We had our meals there too, which were surprisingly delicious. French and American food choices were available. Since the property was located on a high cliff the views were beautiful. My only criticism is that all the outside decking and walking spaces were painted white, and there were several spots where there were one or two steps, which made it very difficult to distinguish. “Valerie and Laurent went out of their way to ensure we had a very enjoyable stay. The room was large and comfortable with a wide balcony affording great views of the ocean. The road there is steep and winds around but we had no problems driving there. Being sround 7km from central Papeete, it is close enough to drive there and to get to the ferries to Mo'orea. It is away from the congestion of Papeete, making it a relaxing place to stay.”

“Spacious 3 bedroom villa with great air conditioning in bedrooms, wonderful deck and plunge pool. Handy to have washing machine. Close to good restaurants. Welcome guide would be helpful or more communication with host / front desk re garbage etc. We had no mosquitoes and sat outside at dusk and in the evenings. Wonderful stay!”

“This is a great property if you wish to explore the south side of the island, or if you have your own vehicle. Unfortunately it is NOT 2.5 miles from the airport or the cruise ship port. It is on the opposite side of the island, Depending on traffic, a 90 - 150 minute drive. $115 taxi drive. You can get a 3 day tourist bus pass for 1 franc (a bus ride is 4 francs) but the busses stop running at 4:00 local time. “Te Mao in realtà è costituito da due lodge: il Te Mao fronte mare e il Te Mao Garden, dall'altra parte della strada. Le foto mostrano solo quello fronte mare, che pensi di prenotare ma vieni reindirizzato al Garden, con una prima delusione. La struttura (del Garden dove sono finita) è nuova ma la pulizia lenta e pigra (2 giorni su 3) per togliere dal corridoio le sacche di panni sporchi. “This pension is run by a family. They were lovely and we felt part of the family when we left a week later. The owner cooks for you if you request it. By the way healthy meals, delicious, and well balanced. You can have breakfast as well if you let them know the day prior. I highly recommend this place situated in a quiet area where relaxation takes absolute center place”
