Iโm a UT Austin alumni and this was a visit to Austin after 20 some yrs with my college son. The hotel had a sense of class and its connections with the univ brought me back memories of UT days.
As for thr accommodation, it was spacious in and out and overall it was nice. However, Iโd like to mention several things as to help improve the site.
1) The room was not so quiet โ street noise and chatters from the corridor were transferred transparently.
2) The bathroom had a tint of...

โThis is a wonderful property managed by lovely owners Brian and Sherry. They are a lovely kind couple. They made sure our needs at the breakfast table were catered. They had gone out the previous night to buy vegan bread, vegan cream and cheese just for us. This property does not have a fancy gym or a pool, but the hospitality you get here is not there even with a 7-star hotel. We will sure come back to stay at Brian and Sherry's Bed and Breakfast. Highly recommended for the unique experience.โ
โWe stayed at the hotel for a training I had at UT. The hotel was clean, safe and close to the campus. The staff was attentive and I was surprised about how good the evening Kickback meals were. It was nice to not have to plan where to go for dinner. Very convenient having dinner in the lobby. I would stay there again. โ
โPool is amazing as it looks in the picture. Great location right in the center of Downtown, very walkable to everything.
Valet guys were all so friendly and professional. We took advantage of their free car service every day where they dropped us off and picked us up all over town.
Front desk people were great, free wine upon arrival, cookies in the lobby daily.
I loved that the bar/restaurant were open until 12am when everything else closed at 10pm across town, it kept us fed on the late...
โProperty was amazing. I was comfortable from the second I entered the door. The bed was comfy, the den felt like I was at home. The wireless audio system made hosting guests easy. I have zero complaints about this properties.โ
"I stayed 3 days for my wife's birthday, but the view was under construction so big noise woke my wife up and dust was everywhere outside so I couldn't open the door to balcony.
But when I checked in, nobody told me about this and I saw many people are using opposite side's elevator in next morning. It was very disappointed."
