Across the street is a brew pub with a light fare menu. A bit further down Rt 1 is a great custard stand; approx. 1/8 mile. This location is modestly priced and conveniently located to Freeport. ”

“While a little outdated, this was very affordable and within 10 to 15 minutes of what we wanted to see and do in Portland. There is an outside pool, and a light breakfast. You need to ask for housekeeping if you want it, but the bed was comfortable after exploring and walking all day it was fine. Probably the most reasonable place to stay. ”
