“Lovely brand new hotel with nice room decor. Good sound proofing and outside balcony. The hotel is not central Funchal. It's about a 40 minute walk into the centre. However, we like walking so for us it was a great. The walk into Funchal is lovely. In addition, there is a shopping centre and many restaurants close by. “The hotel was great. Good location with restaurants nearby and only a 10-15 min walk into the marina area. Pools were nice and the upgrades for the tennis area will be a good addition. Rooms were great - had a nice view of the ocean. Staff were very friendly and helpful in booking day trips. ”

Run out of Breakfast Tea last two days. Italian restaurant was good, did not try Botanical restaurant as Menu was not appealing. Do not consider a five star hotel ”
