"Very nice room, but had difficulty ordering room service since there’s no phone in the rooms."

"Pool was shut down while we stayed there , fire pits were closed. The beds were very hard, microwave didn’t work we needed it to be replaced. "

"Hotel was in great location. Windmill food Court was great! There was a lot of construction going on, rooms were nicely updated. We had staff issues. We were promised, after first night, that we could have ajoining rooms. But when we checked on change, I was still in old room and the room promised was given to someone else. I moved to closer room but unable to have ajoining room as was promised by 2 staff members. We had a 4 year old and the convience of adjoing rooms would have greatly improved our stay!"

"The room was outdated and the cabinetry needed to be fixed. The breakfast was the same throughout the whole week and the Kitchen Lady was very rude and did not seem happy to be there working every morning. "

"Laundry facilities out of order due to the card insert mechanisms on washers & dryers being removed by vandals. I even told the manager I had laundry to do and he didn’t say a word about them being broken! "

"The breakfast was great, lots of variety and fresh options. The kitchen staff was excellent, keeping items stocked and the area clean. The pool area is small not like the picture in the advertisement. The pool was cold and the hot tub was down for part of our visit without any explanation. Cookies and milk offered in the evening was nice but the front desk staff were pretty strict, watching children as they were instructed to only take one! There is a train track nearby. Our room was pretty shielded from the horn noise but others are not. There was lots of yellow tape around the hotel, indicating construction. This hotel is not within walking distance of anything except a gas station. "

"From the moment my family & I checked in, I had a great experience. I was greeted by Sergio he was very helpful & polite. The room was clean & bed was very comfy. The microwave & fridge came in handy. My grandkids had a blast in the pool & hot tub. The complimentary breakfast was so delicious, they served eggs, potatoes, sausage, waffles, cereal, fruit, yogurt. I can go on & on. Overall my stay was awesome. I will definitely be coming back the next time the family is in Carlsbad for legoland."
