Gainesville, Texas hotel rooms at the Motel 6

"The picture online is super old - not recent no new paint on the building - breakfast was supposed to be cereal and waffles - only found a banana and an orange. The bathroom fixtures falling apart. "

"Iron in my room was not working. No one was picking up the service desj, so I went downstairs and asked for a new one. Front desk said one is on the way. Nothing happened for next 30 minutes. Very poor service. "

"The hotel was having much needed renovations done beginning on the 3rd floor. No renovations yet on the 1st floor where we stayed. The carpeting everywhere was stained. The lock on the door was broken. The faucet in the bathroom needed replacement, it was loose and moved around when you, the curtains were stained, there was no hot water for a shower. I had to take a cold shower. There was no coffee pot in the room, but there was coffee for that purpose. We had to ask for hand towels, and a coffee pot. The bed appeared to be clean and it was comfortable. The breakfast was acceptable. The staff was pleasant and helpful. Since we couldn't take a shower, I feel a refund should be paid."
