“The hotel itself is generally fine, however excluding 1 staff member (Latina girl with an accent, apologies I meant to get her name, she’s great) the rest of the ladies at the desk are both unhelpful & rude. They spend their entire shifts staring at an iPad with AirPods in & act as if you’ve done them a disservice anytime you approach & they actually have to do their “job”. Nobody says hello, they can barely even manage eye contact, it’s a truly pathetic display of customer service as well as...

We booked through Expedia for only a 1 night stay and when we arrived to check in, they didn’t have any of the type of room we reserved, so they downgraded. The front desk person basically said our room wasn’t guaranteed because we booked through Expedia. We would stay again but book with the hotel directly.”

“It was unacceptable to us that we couldn’t get a fresh cup of coffee in the morning. We were told at the desk at check in that we could pay for a cup at the on site restaurant. When we went down in the morning the restaurant wasn’t open until 7am. On our multi state travel itinerary this is the only hotel that didn’t offer fresh coffee in the lobby. Deal breaker? For us yes. ”

“The room was very clean and bed was comfortable. The breakfast was medium. I have visited this hotel for a few years, but this is the first time the upholstery in dining room and guest rooms showed stains and tears. It is nearing a time to reupholster.”

“The toilet in our room wouldn’t flush properly. Tried to call the front desk using the phone in the room, but there was no connection to the front desk. There was no bath gel wash in the container in the shower. Lighting in the room is very dim.”

“Room was clean, nicely furnished, albeit quite small , it had everything we needed. Our room had a balcony overlooking the boardwalk, walking up to the sounds of the ocean and being able to walk out right on the beach was the best part. Parking staff and front desk staff were pleasant though not much contact. The only comment I have is that the green carpet in the hallways looked dingy and in need of some deep cleaning. Otherwise, hotel stay was good, I would book with Moxy again. ”

“So to be fair this hotel has thw potential to be amazing. Location is right off the water but my rooms view was definitely obscured by a condo property although it was listed as having a "view". The property was clean and room was a nice size .. But trying to get service or communicate concerns was very hard. There's ni way to reach the front desk..even on the in room phones. It would ring and then hang up but when I went downstairs it was niy crowded or busy. They overcharged me for both...

“The desk staff was not friendly. I and several other guests waiting to check in had to wait for a good while before anyone came to check us in.. The property was clean well kept. My keys didn't work I had to get them changed three times. The breakfast was good a decent selection. Ms Hattie was fantastic cordial, friendly, very engaging and professional. The venue was close to where we had to go so in that regard it was a plus. The parking was safe and convenient. ”
