"This was a new hotel. Rooms were not ready at all for guest. Breakfast was not set up well at all. Elevators didn’t work most of the time. Someone walked right in our room to take pictures & thought it was vacant. Only one small trash can in room. Towel rack was sitting on back of toilet not up on wall. No blow dryer in room. Just not all all worth the price we paid per night. Hopefully they get it together since it just opened."

Linder Motor Lodge

10/10 Excellent

"This is the third time we have stayed at the Linder. We have always been very satisfied with our stay. The rooms are always clean and the staff are very helpful. The room is a great value that matches the price! The rooms seem to have been updated in recent years. Besides tv and WiFi, the only room extras are a refrigerator and microwave, which we are ok with for the cost of the room. It does not have a coffee maker or hairdryer as some places do, but I know this before staying, so it’s not really an issue. McDonald’s is half a mile down the road, so we just go out to get coffee. We have close friends who also stay here when they come to Homer, and we often discuss how we enjoy staying at the Linder..We have always been happy with our stay."

"The two young ladies who checked us in were fantastic. They were working without a light while repairs were being made and they were still cheerful and professional (no name tags or I'd mention them). This property has only been open a week or two, and the kinks are definitely still being worked out - no trashcans in the living area, no "do not disturb" hangers, an exit sign hanging off the wall etc. It was a big bummer the pool wasn't open, the kids would have loved to have gone swimming. The rates were high considering the property wasn't finished. I worked out in the gym, which is large and very nice, but several dumbbells were already missing. One of our rooms had a lot of haphazard issues with the shower construction, a towel hanger not installed correctly etc. My kids love hotel breakfasts, but they were not impressed with this one - the eggs were watery and the muffins were not being restocked, even though it was only 7:45am. Also there was no oatmeal. Overall the property is beautiful. The friendly staff and newness of the property would bring us back. If you're sensitive to chemicals give it some time to offgas, as all the new constrution smells were very strong. Its a little tricky to get to but close to grocery and dinner options. This hotel is by far the nicest option in town, it was a good place to stay on the way home from Orange Beach to Fort Worth"

"Everything was in order and it is not some run down house. Big place with a lot of old times interior and wood carving. The outside is big and great for sitting in peace. I liked the location for getting up to the national forest but also to Lake Bistenau and of course around town. "
