“Property was clean. Room is very small but sufficient for a couple of people. It’s a bit uncommon some rooms are in the basement but it seems to be ok ( mine was). The street is very quiet and a bit dark at night but is one block away from a main avenue. Overall, solid no frills facility.”

“Good value overall but rooms could be cleaner. Things like the tv and light fiixtures were dusty. Elevators are very small and crowded and only one of the two elevators were working the whole time I was there. Communal spaces were nice.”

“Stain on the roof that had not been cleaned , the roller blind was hanging off above the window possible chane if I used it that it would have fell and hit me , the tv did not work properly as it continuously glitch with lines over the screen on all channels not a signal issue ,the remote control for the TV was damaged and the back cover kept falling off ,over all room size small for the price of £200 a night in comparison to a other hotel brands that are in the area ,some of the bar staff a bit...

“Friendly staff. Room 846 had an unpleasant odour upon entry every time that I guess you get used to (even leaving the window open while out). The shower in the room was very odd for a family room. No hand towels for the wash basin, only a big bath towel each.”

“The food was excellent both at the pub/ restaurant and cafe and the staff were friendly. We have travelled a lot and I’ve never felt so mis-led about a property. The hotel has no access to the lake or the lovely grass yard in front of it. It is almost completely enclosed by a 6ft high fence with “no access” signs all over it that are pretty much what you are looking at. Also, there was no fridge or coffee maker (even tho they roast coffee on site!) in our room and the little store and cafe...

“Such a shame with our stay. Check-in was fine, we booked overnight for a local music event. They advised the kitchen would be open til 2AM”
