"The hotel was nice looking and had good historical value. It’s in a good location. The cleanliness of the room was average to above average. The beds were not good. Solid hard foam mattress. Very uncomfortable. The staff was there to do a job but really did not succeed. Not too friendly. Seemed to be a younger / inexperienced staff. Upon check in really no information was given. Had to ask for the complimentary bottles of water. Breakfast was ok and was served between 7am and 9am and not complementary. The thermostat in the room wasn’t operating. The hotel regulated the temperature. Pretty warm. Front desk suggested to just open the window. I would rate our overall experience a 3."

"Clean room nice amenity’s"

"2 things keep this from being 5 stars. 1, the room does not have enough space to hang things. I found it funny that instead of putting hooks or rails up to hang stuff, there's stickers under the sprinkler heads telling you not to hang stuff from them. 2, breakfast was ok, but we've definitely had better. I was thankful for the bagels and yogurt."

"I stayed with my husband and toddler for five days. They gave us a free room upgrade at check-in. We picked this hotel for the location since it was convenient for highway access. We're originally from the area so we knew what we were looking for. Our room was clean and comfortable and had a nice view of the lake. They provide a good breakfast with decent eggs and tasty pancakes. There's plenty of free parking. If I was a tourist, I probably wouldn't want to stay here since I wouldn't say it's exactly modern or has an overall good vibe. It's slightly depressing and it might be a combo of the dated decor and building and also the sad looking clientele. That said, the employees are nice and helpful and the rooms are clean so if you're strapped for cash and just need a bed to sleep in it's fine. But it's not one of those places you go to for the ambiance."

"Everything was fine "

"Room and hotel is basic and met our immediate needs. We chose it due to it's proximity to shopping and downtown Boston. Overall our stay was good and the free parking was much appreciated. "

"The facility was lovely and perfectly located so that it was easy to get to various destinations. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Sadly the only downside was the bathroom is lacking in some key items. It would be helpful if there were hooks on the back of the door to hang things on. It would also be helpful to have a shelf to put toiletries, especially if there are more than one people. It would be nice to be able to heat hot water, not just coffee. Aside from these items, we were very pleased and plan on coming back."

"We enjoyed our two night stay immensely. How could we not, with a lovely view of Good Harbor Beach and a seven minute walk to get there. The staff was EXTREMELY helpful and welcoming. The property is clean, attractive and well maintained and the Continental Breakfast was well-stocked and appreciated. The ONLY downsides: the water, which took several minutes to get hot (which they made us aware of at check-in) and the shower which was a bit crowded with the soap dispensers on the wall. And if you're a smoker, you're asked not to smoke even outside on the deck - which my wife found disappointing as we sat and watched the sun go down. Smoking is allowed only in one designated area in the rear of the property."
