The car park isn’t the largest but they were extremely helpful when we arrived moving one of their cars for us to park. The room was lovely, bed comfortable and even though by the road the noise was minimal. Was very impressed when we arrived to find they had oak milk for my tea. If we are ever in the area again we would definitely stay again.

Nice little hotel

Hotel looks unremarkable from the front, but it has a nice garden in the back and a free parking space. Rooms were well equipped and the breakfast was good. A footwalk to the city. Recommended

A true home away from home! A super comfortable, clean and interesting hotel, our hosts couldn't have been more helpful. Their love and knowledge of the local area was inspiring and supported by a fantastic art and photography display throughout the hotel. Great location to explore both locally and surrounds. Car park a bonus.

Great stay in a comfy homely hotel

Delightful hotel for my stay with my teenage son. Really friendly owner and lots of interesting historical pictures/info. So helpful to have fridge and microwave in our room and access to guest kitchen. It was very hot (attic room) but fans were provided. The shower was good and the beds very comfortable. Great!
