"I had a really great stay at the Canopy by Hilton Portland Waterfront in Portland and would absolutely stay here again. The hotel felt high-end, welcoming, and relaxing from the moment I arrived. I loved the scent throughout the hotel, the beautiful design, and how cozy the common spaces were.
One thing I really appreciated was that my room was ready around 1:30 when I arrived, and I was able to go straight to my room using the digital key without stopping at the front desk. After traveling, that convenience was amazing.
My room was lovely, and the location was fantastic — very walkable to restaurants, shops, and the waterfront. I also really enjoyed Salt Yard Cafe and the Transit Lounge. One of my favorite moments from the trip was during a rainy afternoon before my late flight home. Instead of going back out into the storm, I stayed at the hotel, ordered lunch, sat on one of the super comfortable couches, and relaxed while watching shows on my laptop. It ended up being one of the coziest parts of the trip.
The staff were friendly and helpful, and I really appreciated being able to store my luggage after checkout.
A few minor things could be improved: several of the ice/water machines were out of order during my stay, which was a little inconvenient. Housekeeping was great overall, but my coffee bar wasn’t always fully restocked, so I was without creamer a couple mornings. By the end of my stay, the shower drain was also starting to clog and water pooled while showering."
