“Arrived early as attending a wedding at the venue. To be told there was a £20 charge to allow access to the room even though it was already available. This had not been mentioned in any previous correspondence or calls. The room was average at best and the hotel was very badly signed. The only directions given for the room was turn right at the end of the corridor, no mention of multiple flights of stairs or changes in direction to eventually find the room at the back end of nowhere. “Great location, quiet with lakeside view. I have not given 4stars simply due to the heat in the room, no AC and windows only open around 5CMs. It’s a terrible shame as the room was spotlessly clean and superb shower room.”
