"I was double charged for my stay and currently disputing one of the charges. I booked my reservation through Expedia several weeks in advance. I originally booked a 2-night stay but canceled one due to my husband being ill after graduating boot camp and not being able to travel. I did it through the Expedia app and everything reflected correctly on my end for the following nights reservation (I am not upset about the cancellation fee and understood and agreed to all of that) but when I arrived to check in with my still very sick husband, they said they could not find my reservation and I had to pay again. I would have gone somewhere else had my husband not been so ill. (Stomach sickness - not contagious) The room itself was not very clean, the shower grout was rust stained and missing in most areas leaving a very unsanitary looking shower to use. The pool had so much chlorine that you could not enter the room it was in. The staff was very nice, including the night maintenance man who had to come fix our A/C / Heater because something kept knocking in it every 10 minutes for over 4 hours, turned out to be a valve hitting the wall when the vent was trying to open and close. Overall, not a very good experience. I have been a Hilton Honor member for years and visited several locations, maybe they were having a off week and due to losing our reservation had to put us in a not well kept room. I will give them the benefit of the doubt on that part. It did have a good view."
