The only thing i didn't enjoy was the bed was much too hard for my liking. It caused me to toss and turn often but it didn't leave me with any back pain, so that's a plus.

Airport shuttle service was not available during my weekday stay. That was very disappointing and more expensive using Lyft.

Property was what we expected for the price range. Everything worked but there was some mild repair work needed here and there. Staff was extremely nice and they were very helpful - the staff monitoring breakfast were great as well. Walls between rooms were not insulated well at all. You could here normal conversation clear as day in the next rooms. Third floor also smelled like someone was smoking weed at all hours.

The toilet seat was broken in the room. The rooms can use an update, there were other cosmetic issues, like stains in the carpet, chips in the tile floor. The shower water never got hot. The staff was really nice, and the location was convenient.

You could hear everything going on in the room, next door, including conversations, or TV. I even could hear the loud noise/music from the room across the hallway. The hallway had a smell of kitty litter as well. The second night was not as bad because no one was in the room next-door to me.

Check in was an easy process, staff was friendly. The property was quite and easy access to the interstate. The room had a few issues, i found two roaches in the room, my 9 year old was locked in the bathroom because the door locked but wouldnt unlock. Had to break him out with a credit card. The entire 3rd floor smelled of Marijuana even though there was no smoking in this location.

My room smelled a little bit like smoke/marijuana when I checked in. I was able to run the fan and the AC to clear it out but that was a bit inconvenient.

We do have a sign in the front entry that is the only one we are permitted to have by the city of Greenville. We do however have a sign on the north and south faces of our tower that are visible from the road.

A great hotel for the price. The room was good, with really only two things that bothered me. First, like most hotels with room air conditioners, it took a few minutes to get used to that air conditioned smell, but after that it was fine. And the walls and ceilings do let in a bit more noise than I like. I do recommend it when attending events at the Greenville Convention Center, as it is a quick 10-minute walk away.

One Of Our Favorite Places
This is the second time that we've stayed at this location. Staff is very friendly. The room is very comfortable. The complimentary breakfast is very good with lots of options. The property is conveniently located, being only 10 minutes from downtown Greenville and adjacent to Interstate 385 for quick access to surrounding attractions. We intend to stay here again in the future.

We were pleased overall with the hotel and it's amenities. Breakfast had no fruit! From an Eco-friendly standpoint, too much use of plastics (for example on each and every paper coffee cup, the single serving creamers). Odd complaint, but the toilet was very short and low to the ground... very uncomfortable and difficult to use.

Dear Jeffrey,The plastics are required by the health department to insure the safety of our guests which we take very seriously. As to the toilet issue we are in the process of replacing all of the standard height toilets throughout the hotel with chair height toilets for the very reasons that you mentioned. I am glad to see that other than those issues that you were pleased with the Sleep Inn at Greenville Convention Center.

Property was conveniently located about one mile from the University Center. If you had to, you could walk there from the hotel, but the traffic is immense and little to no sidewalk at times. Room was tidy, small, but tidy. No gym on-site, but they give you a day pass to a local gym about 5 miles away. I would stay again, but I would opt for another hotel with more amenities. Price reflects this. Staff is very friendly.

Run, do not walk, AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. I was willing to give it a chance after reading reviews, and upon entering the property, it's dated but not terrible. We got to our room and decided to take a shower before heading out to downtown Greenville. There may as well not have been a door on the shower, there were gaps everywhere and the floor was soaked. After a long day and an early morning we went to bed exhausted. Upon waking up the next morning, we noticed multiple cockroaches on the walls of the room, so I began executing them with my shoe. Before killing them, I had taken pictures to show the front desk. I went downstairs to cancel the remainder of our stay (we had booked 3 nights) and showed the lady at the desk the pictures of the roaches and Informed her we wanted to check out and asked for a refund of the first night as well ( she would not refund me) she told me I would receive a credit for the remaining 2 nights, I have not received my refund as of yet. Would not stay there again if it were free.

Our new go-to hotel in Greenville!
Our stay here solidified that this is our new go-to hotel for when we stay in the Greenville area. The room was comfortable with a soft yet supportive bed, roomy shower (not a tiny kid-size type), everything worked as designed, and staff (Antonio) at the front desk were always helpful. We felt safe here and slept quite well.
