“We had a one night stay here on the nc 500 route. Beautiful town. This place set on beautiful rolling gardens down to the waters edge and beach. Has units by the waters edge or hotel rooms.Staff were delightful and helpful. Beautiful breakfast and lots of variety of home cooked food. Lots of lovely spacious areas to sit in and relax. Room was small as described. Not suitable for large suitcases . For the size of the room we thought it was over priced.”

“Loved the Inn!! The room smelled wonderful!! Which was a significant improvement from other properties! The twin beds were very comfortable. The room was clean and well decorated. The staff was kind, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was superb. Also enjoyed a delicious dinner - make sure to book reservations for dinner in advance. Enjoyed hikes to the beach and to the nearby waterfall all easily accessed from the property. Will definitely visit again!!”

“I booked a room described as a 'Double or twin room with sea view'. In the notes of the booking, I requested twin beds but I was allocated a double room. The man serving me - older gentleman, white hair - would have struggled to care less. No apology, he just blamed Expedia and gave us a room with no view, which wasn't how we wanted to end our trip. There are signs everywhere telling guests what all the rules are. The hotel feels like an old people's home rather than a holiday destination. ...
