As someone coming from the west, I am used to hotels being a standalone building. This hotel occupies many floors in a high-rise building and as such I struggled to locate it on the first night plus the language barrier. But the staff was quite helpful and tried to make it us feel better ."

"Location is good. Metro station to Line 1 is within walking distance of about 10 mins from hotel. Just next to the hotel are big shopping malls - Grandview, Parc Central and Tian Cheng etc. There is a nice residential neighbourhood where you can take a walk around to have a feel of how people in Guangzhou live and quaint shops and cafes. One thing lacking in the room is a coffee machine. Breakfast at the hotel is average. Stayed 5 days there but I ate pretty much the same thing every day."
