The hotel is in a gorgeous quiet spot surrounded by trees with beautiful gardens. It's conveniently located for St. Peter Port, either to walk the cliff path or use local buses.

โBeautiful property and staff. Everywhere in the hotel is so well looked after, decorated and furnished. Plenty of areas to just sit and enjoy a drink, the atmosphere and views of the garden. The staff were so friendly, caring and helpful and genuine - you never felt they were doing things just because it was their job to do so. It was a real pleasure to stay and I would highly recommend itโ
โStaff were very friendly. Probably the friendliest staff in all of the hotels I've stayed in on Guernsey. Breakfast was very good, with a good selection. Evening meal was good and the correct selection of options for the amount of people eating in. There are a huge selection of restaurant's and pubs serving food nearby. Check out at 10-30am is a little too early. 11am at the earliest would have suited better.โ

Unfortunately the menu in the Terrace was not very good, we didnโt go into the Hugo or main dining room so we canโt judge the options there. โFriendly welcome at check-in, all staff friendly. Clean comfortable room ( twin with sea-view), some noise from traffic on road outside but worth it for view. Good range of food in dining room, good quality & vfm. Breakfast also good choice & quality. Nice comfy beer garden. Very convenient for buses into town, or 15min walk. Highly recommend.โ
