“Nice”

“We were incredibly disappointed from start to finish. After a long day of travel, we checked in and found out that the pool and hot tub were closed for repairs and would be closed for our entire stay. In fact, it had been closed for some time, and they never mentioned it on their website or when we booked the room. Then, we got to our room only to find that we had no hot water. We informed the front desk and they said, "We're aware. It's everyone, not just you." They offered no timeline for...

“Excellent price and good location. Friendly staff and rooms were clean. Comfortable beds. They had an outdoor pool, exercise room and game room. We were only there overnight so didn’t get a chance to try out all the amenities. I would definitely stay there again”

“Love that there’s a bar / restaurant on property, but the facility just feels old and not well maintained. One elevator was out of service for the entire time, and the remaining one felt like it’s on its last legs, very slow. Room cleaning - one room had prior guests food leftovers still in the fridge, and the other had the toilet seat up & toilet paper roll messy, as if someone had used it since it’d been cleaned.”

“Will definitely stay here again on our next visit to York. Very nice rooms and breakfast was good.”

“When we arrived, we can't find a single person at the desk. I been look around and yell hello, hello, no one come. I call the front desk number 2 times then a man appear. The wall is very thin. We can hear people talking from the next room clearly. The breakfast area is too small not much of seat for the guests in that morning. The breakfast not much of an option. Everything else are great the room were clean and roomy.”

“Hotel & area is beautiful. The hotel gives the historic feeling and vibe. The hotel cleanliness is not so great. House keeping could definitely do better with cleaning. Didn’t get a chance to try the food on the rooftop bar because they had no chef. Other than that the stay was pretty good”

“I think you need a real person to check guess in at night. Plus in the morning the front desk was on the phone the whole time. Even got in our why trying to get breakfast. She was more worry about her video call then the customers. Not a good stay at all.Plus there was firetrucks and everything there so it was hard to park to. Because a person set off fireworks.”

“Just the cutest place to stay. The room was perfect, a large bathroom a small twin bed room between the bed and the bathroom, that you can put your luggage on. A wonderfully kept old manor. Breakfast was lovely, met some great people including the owner. Could not have been better!”
