I stayed for three nights here. Had planned for two, but extended one night. Everything about this place is amazing...I am solo traveller and so enjoyed every moment. The views are breathtaking no matter which room u are in. I selected Joy. Personal recommendation would be either Joy or Bliss. All the rooms have good views though and privatw decks. Food is very good. Continental and Italian is average but the north Indian food is really nice. Staff is very courteous and always happy to help. But make sure u plan your trip well. I headed from Delhi at 12pm and it took me 11 hours to reach here. Closest route is u take a flight to Pantanagar. Only 1 flight in afternoon by Air India. Travelling in night is not recommended here as u won't find a single soul after Kathgodam. If u r coming by train then Kathgodam is the nearest railway station. The staff leaves at 10pm so u cannot expect dinner if u reach late. TV is only in the common area. I would request the staff personally to kindly display a notice of camera under survillence in the common areas. The cameras are dug inside the wood in such a way that one would never notice. I noticed the lens in the living room and asked staff about it who confirmed that it's a hidden camera. As per rules the hotel must make a note of it. Sometimes a room is accommodated by couple and the other room is vacant. If the guest is unaware and dresses or behaves comfortably it might be risky.
