Great location. A bit more work to make it better.

구시가지 바로근처라 야시장 및 맥주거리로의 접근성이 좋습니다. 바로 앞에 클럽이 있어서 새벽1시반까지 시끄럽지만, 이를 위한 이어플러그가 방마다 비치되어있었습니다. 화장실에서 하수구냄새가 가끔 올라오지만, 방까지 냄새가 나진않았습니다. 발코니에선 흡연이 가능합니다. 주변에 커피숍이 많으며, 무료조식은 간단한 수준입니다.

하노이의 밤문화를 느끼기엔 최고.
맥주거리 까지 1분, 하노이 옛건물 2분, 바딘광장이나 호아로수용소까지는 후론트에 예기하면 전용택시를 불러주는데 30000동(1500원), 호안끼엠호수까지 도보로 5분 그야말로 구시가지 중심이라서 걸어다니며 모든걸 다 볼 수 있음. 도착이 밤2시 이고,항공사 정비관계로 1시간반 늦게 도착 했는데도,호텔 택시가 대기하고 있었음.요금도 18불 올때는 15불 보증금 미리받지 않고, 첵크 아웃할때 택시비랑 미니 바 이용한거 계산 합니다.참고로 하롱베이 1일투어하실려면 40불짜리는 피하시길.......작은 마이크로 버스 에 왕복 8시간을 다리아프게 가야합니다. 호텔에 예약하면 누어서 갈수있는 리무진에다가 하롱베이 크루즈에서 멋진 정식에 유람선 동굴및 티톱섬입장료 간식 모두 포함해서 90불에 예약 해줌.

완전 최고!
하노이에 있으면서 가장 좋은 곳이였습니다. 축구 경기날 밤에 엄청 시끄러워서 잠을 잘 수 없었는데, 1:30에 카우터에 내려갔더니 조용한 방으로 바꿔주었습니다. 완전 감동했어요. 방 시설도 깨끗하고 좋았으며, 특히 스텝들이 너무 친절해서 대 만족이였습니다. 하노이에 가신다면 꼭 추천드리고 싶어요.

DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU WANT A BALCONY ROOM. We had booked and paid for a balcony room. As soon as we stepped foot in Nostalgia we were immediately confronted by two ladies on reception not to take the balcony room as we'd find the noise from the night club/karaoke opposite unbearable. We were shown the room at the back of the hotel over looking roof tops which didn't have the balcony, (there was a small outdoor area for smoking shared with the room next door) Pressure was applied to choose between the noisy room at the front of the hotel with the balcony or peaceful room at the back because apparently other guests were arriving soon and we needed to decide before their arrival. We were a bit perplexed as to why it was acceptable for the "other guest due to arrive" to have the noisy room? After having sat in reception deciding which room we should take, with the staff continuously telling us the quiet room is better, we took the quiet room. Well first and foremost the 2 nights that we stayed at Nostalgia we returned back to the hotel at 11.30pm after having enjoyed the crazy street scenes. The night club and Karaoke bar WERE NOT OPEN on both Friday night or Saturday night. We were specifically told they were open until 2am. Clearly this was untrue. I suspect the "other guests" wanted the balcony room so the staff duped us into taking the quiet room, and why Nostalgia are you selling balcony rooms on your website if they are inhabitable? Breakfast was poor too.

A great little hotel right in amongst the hustle and bustle of central Old Quarter. Rooms are clean, we had a balcony room that faced the street.. yes it was loud and noisy but that’s to be expected. Staff were great, breakfast was average. 10/10 for location!

I am unlucky and got a stint room. My friend room is alright. The smell is from the toilet plumbing system and the entire bedroom is full of this smell. The tour lady at the front desk os helpful and recommended us some good tours around Hanoi City via the tuktuk or tricycle.

Location great Hospitality great Room’s very good Staff very friendly especially Kim and Tung. The only part I didn’t like was breakfast Not much to choose from But more the breakfast staff most not all but the main breakfast staff couldn’t be bothered or looked like they wanted to be there very disappointed in breakfast staff. But if you want breakfast as soon as you go out the doors there’s plenty to choose from. Would i return Yes I would breakfast isn’t that much of an issue to stop me. Cheers and thank you Kim and Tung for a great stay

The best
This is a wonderful hotel to stay at in Hanoi. The location in the old quarter is excellent. The staff at the hotel is one of the most helpful I have ever experienced anywhere. Truly lonely people.

Great place with great staff... I stayed in several hotels during my time in Hanoi and this is was my favourite for the price. The pool was nice, although it was mostly too cold to use it while I was there, the rooftop had a great view of the walking street, and I really enjoyed my balcony overlooking the walking street as well. Keep in mind that this hotel is right in the middle of a very popular street that is turned into a walking only street on weekends and is full of bars and restaurants, so it can be quite loud at night on the weekends. If you're okay with that, you'd be hard pressed to find a better place at this price point. I'll be back for sure.

This is a nice hotel, and the staff are really nice and helpful. However, the area is extremely noisey. You will need earplugs to be able to sleep.

I was very pleased with my stay at this hotel located in the heart of the old quarter in Hanoi. It was a little difficult to find during the extremely crowded street in the evening, but once located, it was easy to find. We were immediately greeted by the doorman at the hotel that helped carry my luggage up the front steps. The man at the front desk immediately greeted me by my first name and said they had been expecting us. The room was quiet (we were on the backside of the building), spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable and I liked the fact there was a pool inside the hotel. The breakfast was wonderful and overall I was extremely pleased with my stay. I would personally stay at this hotel again and would recommend it to others.

Good location
Good location, nice clean hotel. If you mind noises, don't choose room at the streetside. The pubs and all nightout activities make loud noises till late. But rooms (we stayed in Historical Twin Rm with balcony) have double glass doors at the streetside that lower the levels of noise. (Tip: There is a showerroom besides the toilets, just near the frontdesk). It is good for guests who will depart the city late but already returned the room to hotel for checkout. They can also keep your luggages in the lobby.

Wonderful hotel right in the heart of downtown Hanoi. The suite is excellent with a balcony right over a bustling street. Very helpful staff with good English. Please note if you're not partial to enjoying the night life it can be noisy late, because it's a very busy area.

Quartier très vivant face a une discothèque. bruyant jusqu'à 3h du matin (discothèque) et la circulation (qui reprend très tôt) . Le personnel a été très agréable, souriant et disponible.

The hotel is very central for visiting all of the sights. Breakfast was good with a mixture of European and Asian options. It was nice to have a pool to cool down after a hot day’s sightseeing. The staff were very friendly and knowledgable, making excellent recommendations for places to visit and eat.

Hôtel très agréable, personnel très attentionné parlant très bien anglais et même français pour certains. Chambres spacieuses et modernes. Piscine couverte, spa et jolie terrasse sur le toit. Au cœur de la vieille ville, emplacement parfait. Privilégiez les chambres sur l'arrière du bâtiment et donnant sur la piscine pour éviter les bruits de rue et des bars environnants.
