Staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay.
I can't remember if there were smaller rooms but as a single occupant my for what I paid the room was definitely worth it, great value.
It's about a 20 or so min walk from Kilmarnock station so not far from town centre. The area around the hotel is a small stadium and mainly residential.
Only bit of constructive feedack I would give is the nespresso coffee machine in my room while there is a manual in the drawer maybe...

โFred the host was brilliant, extremely helpful, guest house was very clean and was kept in great condition. Breakfast was great plenty of choice and freshly cooked. Met some interesting people there over breakfast which is always nice. Will stay again when I come up to visit our grandchildren .โ
โNice, clean hotel and restaurant with pleasant staff. The outside beer garden had play equipment for the children and it was relaxing watching them play while enjoying a tasty meal. The company requested we let them know about anything that could be altered to make our stay more comfortable. Nothing needs to change-simple furnishings, pleasant furnishings, nice restaurant, clean accommodations. โ
โWe stayed for access to Glasgow airport, the family room was ideal for us as it fit all 5 of us in comfortably where other hotels were requiring us to book 2 rooms.
Easy access to the airport in the morning of around 15/20 minutes.
We ate in the restaurant and found the food very nice alsoโ
