“Old school stately charm, the staff make an effort to provide a luxurious experience in this historically grand hotel. Great to have a bathtub, bathrooms have been renovated. Treats and coffee/tea provided in the room. Friendly and cozy pub for visitors and locals with full menu available. Grand, formal dining room and halls for guests. Typical Scottish decor, plaid carpets with random sections of scenic wallpaper amid beautiful old woodworking.

“Safe, quiet, comfortable, cozy and welcoming. Absolutley enjoyed our stay. Shower supplies from the Highland Soap Co were an absolute blast - had two best showers of my life :)”
“Hosts were very friendly and attentive, providing a great welcome and suggestions for dinner in the evening, as well as a recommendation of an activity to do the next day after we checked out.
Bathroom was private for our room, though not connected to the room itself. The bathroom was very nice. Our room also had a sink in the bedroom itself.
Bed was a bit soft - the mattress was not the most comfortable, but overall, no issue.
We very much enjoyed our stay, and if we stay in the area again...

“We only had an overnight stay, but this was long enough to enjoy our accommodation. The apartment was exceptionally clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The holiday village was well maintained, quiet and peaceful. All staff that we interacted with were polite, friendly and very helpful. We would not hesitate to stay again.”
“Check in was easy you get a code sent for the front and room door, very well equipped with a small kitchen area with a fridge which when travelling with a dog was really useful for the food. Bed lovely and comfy with a small balcony area to sit out and as the weather was so good was perfect. Ample parking with a very short walk into Aviemore, plenty local shops, cafes and pubs/restaurants to choose from

“Julie and I had a great stay at the hotel. Unfortunately we had to take Alfie, Julie’s scruffy wee dog at the last minute. I spoke to someone at the hotel and they kindly moved us to their sister hotel next door that allows wee hairy animals. We certainly would return again. I might even consider inviting Alfie as he enjoyed his stay too 😊. ”
“Stayed for the weekend with the family (2 adults & 2 kids aged 8 & 6). Room was a good size and clean. Great amenities on site - playpark, cinema, swimming pool, soft play & amazing pizza at the resort's Italian restaurant. ”
“Staff were friendly and helpful, location handy and beautiful, with red squirrels nearby and nesting house martins. My only suggestion would be that - as we should be reducing meat and dairy consumption for environmental reasons - vegetarian breakfast should be the norm.”
