"Overall, it wasn't a horrible experience. The rooms were clean, if slightly worn. My biggest issue is when I booked nearly a month in advance requesting rooms next to each other, when we arrived we were told the hotel was "pretty full" and they couldn't accommodate the request. Which was a lie, because the entire time we were there, their "vacancy" sign was lit, the parking lot was mostly empty, and there were empty rooms all on our block, and the block of the people we were traveling with (the staff opens the curtains of unoccupied rooms). So that irked me. Like, why lie about being full when you CLEARLY aren't?? The other thing that irked me was that we had put a DND on our door, and our room had been entered both days as our air conditioner had been turned off. All in all, wasn't the worst experience, but it was also disappointing, so I probably wouldn't go back."

"Very well maintained, beautiful area and gated so we felt very safe. Lots of activities available on property!"

"The pool had to much chlorine in it and the smell was burning my eyes by just standing in the pool areas. the bottom of the pool was kind of rough as well. We opened up the doors to air it out and it helped. We had a soaker tub in one of the bathrooms and we couldn’t use it. The plug was missing but I didn’t ask or say anything bc the jets were dirty inside that I wouldn’t have let my kids use it anyways. It would have been nice to enjoy it though. The room overall was okay. The beds were comfortable and rooms very spacious. We will be back for those reasons. The hotel is in a great location. My husband said the breakfast was good and he enjoyed it as well. It was neat to go to the top floor to eat. Overall we enjoyed our stay and we would stay again "

"We asked for extra towels with the test and was told we would get them. We never did. The air conditioning make a ticking noise everytime it cut off. Making it dificult to sleep..."

"The BEST thing about the Lodge of the Ozarks is the proximity to everything around Branson. Literally several of the attractions are within walking distance. Staff was mostly courteous and welcoming. The room and bathroom were all adequate size for our needs. Sadly we had a few complaints with the first one being the bed, the bed cover provided was paper thin (just a slightly thicker bed sheet). We had to ask for a second blanket which they provided, but you would think a hotel would provide a modestly plush comforter, unfortunately not. Second the TV was an adequate size but it was so old you could not log into your Netflix/steaming service of your choice to watch anything other than limited cable channels. The "Free" breakfast was very average and nothing to write home about, limited or standard choices...I guess it is "free" so you get what you pay for. And finally the plugins available in your room are barely adequate. Why more hotels just don't give you a bank of USB or a/c plugins to power all your devices doesn't make sense. Lastly the parking...if you don't get your parking space settled before 7 PM you will be parking in the back. This is difficult as many go to see shows at night. Not sure if others are using the parking that are not staying there but we could not believe how quickly it filled up. It is definitely not the best hotel we have ever been in but if you have a short stay in Branson it will work...an extended stay like ours, not so much."

"Staff was very pleasant. Nice to park right outside my door. Pet friendly. Average cleanliness for age of property. Some mold in shower. Water pressure was amazing. Room musty/humid even with A/C. Bed firm and not comfortable. Pillows uncomfortable. Thin blankets, no extras. Room lets in a lot of light even with block out curtains. Overall mostly quiet. No road noise but could hear other patrons. Glad I only stayed one night. In a pinch, this hotel would do, but won't recommend if you don't have to stay here."
