a) The breakfast area is very small so the staff needs to stand guard at the door to regulate the flow of hotel guests. While some guests would understand the inconvenience and gladly abide by the arrangment, it just needed a new staff's oversight and and an ungracious guest to ignore the arrangment at the door to walk in on his own, took over another customer's seat despite knowing that he was jumping the queue, to spoil the entire dining experience, which was what I had encountered. While the senior staff was professional to immediately apologize to me and offered a takeaway box, i think it was still not right, for he had chosen to accomodate the ungracious guest rather than the one abiding by the hotel rules. b) The hotel had its electricity/internet etc cut off during my stay without prior warning, resulted in my need to scramble out of hotel to conduct my online meeting midway through it. I understand that this is not a top end hotel so I would not expect top tier services, but I believe the basic courtesy to notify any inconvenience in advance, and in the event of not being able to do so, to compensate its guests for such inconveniences is how it should show its professionalism in management and sincerity towards its customers, which was lacking during my stay there. c) This hotel is less suitable for family with kids for those planning to stay here.
