"On first seeing the hotel in person I was a bit apprehensive as from the outside it appears very run down. Free parking onsite is a bonus. We received a warm welcome at reception, room was clean and had everything we needed, we slept well. Breakfast was great. Overall great value for money."

"TERRIBLE NIGHT'S SLEEP Underage drinkers playing mini golf at 1:20 am outside my room, and had to phone security twice. As well as this, the walls are paper thin, and could hear conversations in the room next door as well as them urinating. Talked to the assistant manager, and was offer a £12.39 refund - absolutely terrible."

We decided to have our evening meal there as well. We both really enjoyed the food which was cooked perfectly and the prices were very much cheaper than we pay in Essex."
