“Nice, clean with a nice local pub right across the courtyard. Very handy. However the pub is only open limited hours and no where else to eat within walking distance except a fish n chips joint. We stayed in apartment 3. Suited our family of 4 well, but note there is no mini fridge or micro that a family might hope for. Walls are thin too but not a big deal.

“I was very impressed with the Queen's Head. Nice clean room in a great location in Higher Buxton. Housekeeping promptly every day. First-rate full English breakfast included.
My only complaint is that the room was rather small. There was no space to have an open suitcase, so I had to stuff it in a closet. That was a little inconvenient. Of course, I realize there is nothing they can do about that. It is an old building, and the room size is what it is.”
“Jo was really welcoming and made us feel right at home, we had local speciality for breakfast and it was top notch. Room was lovely and comfortable and clean, and we had a great sleep, were well rested for our days in alton towers. Highly recommend. ”
