"Historic place to stay in the centre of Buxton, very handy for all the sights, bars and restaurants. Room was fine and very comfortable. Public areas a little tired but that didn't detract from our stay. Excellent breakfast."
"A lovely hotel. Nice Spa. Pool area is nicely done Roman style architecture although pool is showing signs of ageing a bit. Gym. Nice enough breakfast area and place near reception to have a drink. Room was good with AC. No fridge. They offer a free drink at the bar if you don't get your room c L eanrd and stay over 2 days."
"Excellent hotel and spa but please get some more staff for reception and dining. Food was absolutely lovely but they are rushed off their feet and can’t keep up. Management should not be allowing a 5 star to have so few staff on for breakfast on a Saturday morning and we shouldn’t be kept waiting at reception. The staff are working so hard, it is not their fault. You need more man power."
