"Lovely place. This is a rustic place in the middle of nowhere and is fantastic! Worth all the travel. Staff were amazing. Food was superb. I had the giant Yorkshire pudding with beef bourginon. My room was lovely and the bed comfortable. A very welcoming place even for a single traveller like me. I’m definitely going back at some point! Brilliant"

The owners were so helpful and friendly and we had a very good quality evening meal with beautiful romantic piano music played by the manager and a history talk too. The owner was a beautiful lady who chatted to us in the bar area. We’d like to go again. Breakfast was good."

Breakfast was brought to your room rather than in the restaurant, this was different and gave the option for having breakfast in bed. The only downside was that the door for the stairwell at the end of the hallway kept slamming. This door was next to our room which was quite frustrating."
