I rented this room to be walkable to Fenway Park, so a premium price was a given. But for $200 a night, I expect a comfortable bed that doesn’t sag (my back still hurts), better amenities in the bedroom and bathroom, and maybe a hot breakfast. This place is as barebones as it gets. Three stars for convenience to downtown, a quiet street, and friendly staff. Yes, there’s also the charm of an old building, but charm doesn’t equal comfort. I’d probably stay here again for half the price.
