Although the outside could use some paint, we were very happy that the rooms were clean and fresh. They came in each morning to make beds. The hotel is in walking distance to downtown! Also has a great Mexican food place across the parking lot. Dollar General a few blocks away for anything you might need. The breakfast is a bit sad with no eggs or sausage. But, there are some great mom and pop breakfast places in a few minutes drive. Loved the area. Well worth the money. We also went with another couple and had adjacent rooms. Staff was very nice. Parking is right there in front of hotel.

Welcome rest stop on the way to the Outer Banks.

We stay here overnight on our way to North Carolina Beaches. The staff is always accomodating and friendly.The rooms are well cleaned, and the beds are comfy. Breakfast is so-so, but there are other nearby options if that is important to you. There is a trolley ride around town, which the kids love. Historic downtown is within walking distance, with lots of restaurants and activities to do.
