Très facile d'accès si on voyage en voiture. Un très bon hébergement pour une nuit avec un excellent repas du soir . Pas besoin de se déplacer. Hôte très accueillant. Aménagement bien soigné et propre.

Un havre de paix et d'esthétique
Notre séjour a été exceptionnellement réussi ! Tout était parfait. Le cadre,la décoration de l'établissement, la cuisine, les terrasses. Nicolas est très accueillant et fait tout pour nous satisfaire. La chambre vraiment très belle, charmante avec son style méditerranéen. Très élégante, claire, confortable et vraiment très propre. Tout sent bon! Nous retiendrons et conseillerons cet établissement merveilleux.

Nice place. Pretty, polite and accommodating staff
I think it must be an Italian thing, but when I ask for 2 separate beds for 2 different people, why would ANYONE think it’s ok to put the 2 twin beds together and cover them both with one sheet set?!? 2 beds means 2 beds APART!

We had such a great stay at Nicola’s place. He was so welcoming and helpful. We had dinner at his restaurant and the food was delicious. The whole ambiance and atmosphere are so inviting and soothing. Thank you Nicola for a wonderful stay. We look forward to staying there again.

Sehr freundlicher und zuvorkommender Eigentümer. Das Zimmer war modern eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Wir hatten auch eine schöne Terrasse mit Blick in die Ebene. Im Hausrestaurant haben wir am Abend auch gut gegessen. Insgesamt eine sehr schöne und angenehme Atmosphäre.

Struttura nuova, molto pulita con camere molto belle e soprattutto arredate con gusto e materiali locali. Camera doppia molto grande e confortevole, materassi top anche del divano letto matrimoniale. Lenzuola morbide e profumate, lo stesso dicasi per gli asciugamani. Paesaggio molto bello e super tramonto, parcheggio comodo, luogo molto silenzioso. Colazione ottima, con buona scelta e qualità dei cibi (cornetti, marmellate, nutelline e torta fatta in casa). Insomma tutto da 5 stelle. Ora per rendere credibile la recensione, aggiungerò qualcosa di negativo, ma dovendomi impegnare molto....ospiti vicini un po rumorosi in orario mattutino, forse la camera non è molto insonorizzata, soffione della doppia doccia un pò limitato dal calcare e aggiungerei una tenda alla finestra del bagno, cosi da poter aprire la persiana senza essere visti, dato che la nostra dava sull'entrata. Insomma, non vedo l'ora di tornarci.

The decor was quiet and lovely, done in beige and white. Nicola could not have been friendlier or more helpful. It was helpful not to be in the center of town as we avoided the traffic and were able to easily visit the sites.

Wir waren nur 1 Nacht, Zimmer klein, aber ausreichend, sauber, große Dusche; Rezeption in der Nacht nicht besetzt; das gesamte Guest Haus liebevoll ausgestattet, mit einem größeren Zimmer absolut empfehlenswert! Restaurant war geschlossen (out of season)

Si tratta di una bella struttura, in una posizione comoda per partire alla scoperta della Puglia. Bella camera, spaziosa, ben arredata in modo caratteristico, scenografico il bagno tutto in pietra. Ristorante degno di nota. Purtroppo, molto probabilmente a causa della situazione contingente, la manutenzione lascia molto a desiderare e si ha l'impressione che l'albergo stia degradando. Meriterebbe sicuramente un voto più alto

The Gem of Lucera and it regionsl treasures!
Absolutely Fantastic stay. The room was perfect. The dinner and wine were delicious and Francesco, the host was charming, and delightful. My wife has been intriguedznd called to exploing the history of the black madonnas as well as havjng curiosityaround ley lines. Wouldnt you know it...Francesco tells us of a black madonna located just 5 minutes from fhe hotel!! And then he startsrellibg ys sbout a key ley line point, kne of seven, is located next to the town we were heading to for my meetings. So thanks to Francesco, my wife got to visit a black madonna, Monte Sant Angelo And Padre Pio crypt. She was beyond surprisedand happy, which made me happy!! If you are in the area do yourself a favour, stay here, eat here and chat with Francesco. You never know what adventure ge may point you tkwards or revesl! Grazie tante!

Stanza stile provenzale con nicchie nel muro illuminate. La nostra stanza, una suite risultava ben arredata con ampi spazi, con divano e poltrone confortevoli di ottima fattura. Ottimo e molto comodo anche il letto dove abbiamo dormito profondamente. Bella e particolare l’illuminazione che rendeva l’ambiente magico. Bagno comodo e spazioso stile minimale con ottimo materiali e luci in sintonia con la stanza. Assolutamente consigliato

Le Nicchie was quite impressive... Nicola was very communicative and beyond helpful and hospitable. The guest house was well appointed, clean, and very comfortable. The two hosts were just adorable. Good mood, magnificent welcome and you directly feel special. The rooms are spacious, well lit and very clean. Dinner was very good. What we did not like are just small details that will make this place more than perfect : There was a slight smell in the bathroom and the fridge did not work in the room. And, breakfast can be improved. Keep up the good energy, we will defintely come back !

Le Nicchie Guest House review
This family run boutique hotel is located just outside of the little town of Lucera. We had the room with the large outdoor deck. Having the deck added to the charm of the place. We brought our large 5 year old chocolate lab, and he made himself at home. He is very well trained and very comfortable around new people. Between the owner, Francesco and his son Nicola you will NOT find two more friendly and relaxed people. By all means plan on eating here as the food is great. I highly recommend staying here!

An amazing find...
We had an overnight stop here between Rome and Alberobello. What a find! Spacious rooms both with private balconies. Beautiful decor, soft stone, soft fabrics and very comfy beds. Great night sleep. Restaurant on site - similar prices to Rome but delicious and so convenient. Very welcoming family and staff. WiFi excellent. Plenty of parking. Thank you!

Visited as it had good reviews eg “a gem” however difficult to find even with GPS. Rooms small however we were offered another but declined as we only had 1 night. Gardens run down out side, breakfast limited. Owner very polite and recommended a very good wine with a delightful dinner.

Amazing
Driving from Alberobello we had planned on overnighting at Popoli but found nothing suitable So we drove on to Lucera and booked Le Nicchie just prior to arrival. This place is about 3km from Lucera amidst the farmland.There are 6 rooms and a Restaurant . Our room was absolutely fabulous, as was Dinner and Breakfast. Thoroughly recommended.
