We were looking for a quiet place outside Catania and this was a perfect fit. We stayed 1 night and were able to have our lunch, dinner, and breakfast before leaving right at the hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful and the food was fresh and delicious. We enjoyed walking around the farm to see the animals and also taking a refreshing swim in the pool.

Il Giardino del Sole is a hidden gem

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Il Giardino del Sole in Sicily, and I can’t recommend it enough! This hotel is truly amazing—the perfect blend of comfort and charm. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel right at home. They are exceptionally friendly and kind, always ready to help with a smile. It’s clear that they genuinely care about their guests’ experience. Now, let’s talk about the food! Every meal was magnificent and absolutely delicious. The portions were generous, and everything was beautifully presented. If you’re travelling to Catania, Il Giardino del Sole is a hidden gem that you simply must visit. I can’t wait to return!

Clean and comforatable for the wooden cabin.

The cabin was clean. Shower is perfect. Plenty of water pressure and that is what i like. Not very soundproof though. You can hear the naber clearly but for it was no problem. Restaurant is nice and the food is as expected but only in the weekend there are pizzas. Not easy to reach by car probably a result of the new highway. Bed is good and comforatble and there is even a little refrigerator.

We had amazing time at Giardino del Sole.The rooms are nice and clean and were cleaned daily.The area is lovely,quiet and perfect for a relaxing break.Kids loved walking around the farm and spotting animals.We had dinner twice in the restaurant-very delicious food and very reasonable prices too.Staff is very attentive and friendly.Definitely recommend it!

Nice property with a good restaurant. Great attention to environmental concerns. The rooms are a little rustic for the price. Small, hardly anywhere to charge devices. Pillows were very uncomfortable. Wifi was not reliable in our room. There was also a loud sound every time someone in the building used the water, which was incredibly annoying.

This Agriturismo was run by a friendly charming family - they told me they extensively renovated a rundown property in 2002-2006. They built a big prosperous restaurant with adjoining pool, children’s playground, bungalows and farm. The food was excellent. The rooms were small, dark wood panelled and sparsely furnished. They reminded me of North American motels. They were clean but the walls were very thin. I was surprised that there was a €10 fee for the pool/umbrella and €5 for umbrella hire and the gate to the pool was locked. I think it would have been nice to be included in the hotel price, even if I were charged more for the booking.. Room payment was requested on arrival and dinner had to be paid right after the meal - I would prefer to have had a tab and pay on checkout.

Un luogo per riposare e stare bene.

Tutto perfetto. Accoglienza, servizio, ristorante, spazi, natura. Camera praticamente immersa nell’agrumeto, il silenzio della campagna che garantisce sonni tranquilli e il profumo delle arance. Dopo una giornata di lavoro é l’ideale per riequilibrare lo stress magari anche facendo rilassanti passeggiate seguendo i percorsi dell’agriturismo sulla collina.

Più che un semplice soggiorno

Quando vai in un agriturismo devi essere consapevole che sei in una struttura agricola che si è organizzata per offrire ospitalità e comfort. Il Giardino del Sole è riuscita a garantire comfort, qualità e ospitalità con un ristorante eccellente a costi davvero contenuti, colazione con prodotti eccezionali della loro terra, persone con le quali scambiare qualche chiacchiera è un grande piacere ed un servizio di qualità, cortese e professionale. Ci tengo a dedicare un pensiero alla proprietaria con la quale abbiamo chiacchierato una sera. Una persona innamorata del suo lavoro, della sua terra e che si prodiga per rendere il soggiorno agli ospiti il migliore possibile. Grazie perché continuate a garantire standard di soggiorno a misura d’uomo senza un lusso ostentato, finto ed impersonale, ma donate umanità e attenzione. Sarà per me sempre un immenso piacere essere ospite presso la vostra struttura.

Al check-in ci hanno detto che la colazione non era compresa anche se prenotata e pagata, offrendola quindi a pagamento. Solo successivamente hanno confermato la prenotazione della colazione. Al momento dell'accesso in piscina scopriamo che l'entrata era consentita solo previo pagamento di biglietto e cuffia. Basiti in quanto non specificato da nessuna parte al momento della prenotazione e solo dopo discussione, la signora ha scelto di farci pagare solo le cuffie.

Incredible views over to Comino. The town is quiet and near the ferries, making it easy to travel to and from. Very clean, beautiful pool and deck. Well worth getting a room with a view ocean side. Watch your step coming out of first floor rooms; some tricky steps can lead to falls.

Accueil sympa, chambre correcte dans un cadre agréable proche de Catane. Belle piscine ( mais bizarrement fermée entre 12h et 15h) . Internet très approximatif. Hotel très pratique pour l'aéroport qui est à 25 minutes en voiture.

Nice family run hotel 30 mins from Catania airport

We stayed in a ‘wood cottage’ room which was basic, clean and included TV, air conditioning, and wi-fi, perfect for our needs as we only needed to stay overnight in order to catch an early flight from Catania airport. Pizzas from the restaurant were good and breakfast included homemade preserves and fruit from their farm - very tasty. To top it all off, they very kindly opened breakfast an hour early so we could eat before driving to the airport.

空港からは高速道路で南に進み、SA過ぎて右の高速道路に進む。下の道路に降りて、カターニア方面に戻り、看板に従えれば当民宿に。 結構の車が駐車。２２時受付で夕食は可能。朝食は７ユーロでそれなりの感じ。 部屋の天井が高い。電気は暗く読書は不可。シャワーは問題なし。電源コンセントの位置が悪い。早朝からニワトリが鳴いている。農家の民宿でなくて、普通の民宿。

Trevligt bemötande på detta lantliga hotell. Enkla rum. God mat och riklig frukost, mycket från egna odlingar. Ganska svårt att hitta dit, GPS rekommenderas. Stor pool ifall man behöve bada.

Favoloso soggiorno durato poco ma intenso. Posizione strategica per gustarsi la Sicilia orientale.il personale è stato gentilissimo e cordiale. Da ripetere per più giorno. Chapeau
