Check in was a little on the slow side as the receptionist took a while to find our reservation but after that everything went very smoothly. Room was a little on the small side in my opinion for two people, and it would have been nice to have tea/coffee making facilities albeit they were freely (and complimentary) available in the reception area all day. Having breakfast laid on was great, and even though the choice wasn't vast it was all very good quality. Location was perfect.

Not great
Room was disappointing given that it was supposed to be a suite and was relatively expensive. Booking confirmation indicated that it was a double with two singles but it was a double with a sofa bed - the sofa bed being very uncomfortable. Staff were friendly and location was excellent.

Das Zweibettzimmer war ziemlich groß und wir hatten sogar Ausblick auf ein Stück Kathedrale. Diese sieht man übrigens auch vom Frühstücksraum aus. Die Auswahl ist groß, zumindest bei den Teesorten und Kaffeearten. Orangensaft kann man sich frisch pressen. Es gibt einen Eierkocher, Joghurt, frisches Baguette und "Vollkornbrot", Schinken, Salami, 3 Käsesorten, Butter, Marmelade und diverse Cerealien. Die nahegelegene Tiefgarage kostet 7€/24h. In der Gegend gibt es noch weitere Kirchen und das Les Halles, quasi ein riesiger Foodcourt.

Situé es à proximité du commissariat l'environnement est bruyant avec une climatisation portable bruyante qui oblige à garder la fenêtre ouverte pour évacuer l'air chaud. Petit-déjeuner tres médiocre par rapport au standard Ibis styles. Cet hôtel ne participe absolument pas à donner une belle image au groupe Ibis.

Needs a makeover
This hotel is in need of a refurbish. We hav stayed there before and we were in the more modern part serviced by a lift. This time we were in the older part of the hotel. Clearly this is not a hotel for older people as one night 1 we were given a room that had a bathroom so small that we had to turn sideways to get to the toilet. To try to get into the shower involved stepping over a high walled bath, no handles etc and frankly we found it dangerous. To give the hotel some credit, when we complained about this and asked for a room with a bathroom in which we could move they did change our room. So, the staff were co-operative on this front.Toilet problem solved but the shower was still an exercise that older people would find difficult - I am 74 my wife 68. There were no in room safes which would have been useful, no fridge etc so amenities were not the best. Nevertheless the bed was comfortable bandit is located close to the action in Amiens. I cannot say what the more modern rooms would have been like but all round I think the hotel needs a massive makeover.

The hotel is in a very old building so it has more character than the usual ibis hôtel. It’s very close to the the cathedral and the centre of Amiens and although there is no car parking at the hotel itself it’s not far to an underground carpark. The room was spacious and clean with a comfortable bed and the breakfast was excellent.

la gentillesse et la bonne humeur de la réceptionniste à notre arrivée samedi midi. La dame qui s'occupait de la salle déjeuner également est réactive et bien aimable.

Pour un trois étoiles, il n'y avait qu'un jeu de serviette pour deux personnes, le carrelage dans la salle de bain ce décèle devant la baignoire et la tête du robinet du lavabo est branlant. De plus le matelas de la literie commence à donner des signes de faiblesse, sans compter l'aspect général de la propreté dans la chambre qui laisse à désirer. Bref, nous avons eu l'impression d'avoir eu une chambre low-cost pour avoir réservé via votre site.

Central clean spacious friendly hotel in Amiens
We stayed 4 nights at the hotel. Two adults one teenager - the family room was spacious neat clean and quiet. The staff were welcoming and friendly. A lift to assist with getting luggage up to first floor room. Walking distance to everything. Police headquarters acrosss the road so felt extra safe. Generous fresh breakfast included. We were there for battlefield tours and the hotel suited our purposes totally. Thanks for having us. Not luxurious but good value for the cost

Zentral und dennoch ruhig gelegen mit einem gemütlichen Innenhof. Das Zimmer sind modern eingerichtet und waren völlig in Ordnung. Das Frühstück war guter Durchschnitt. In wenigen Minuten ist man zu Fuß im Stadtzentrum. Das Rund-um-die-Uhr-Angebot (Kaffee, Tee, Croissants, Süßigkeiten, Zitronenwasser) war auf einem kleinen Tisch abgestellt und zum Teil nicht genießbar (Wie Kaffee vom Morgen am Nachmittag schmeckt, ist sicher jedem bekannt… Die Zitronenscheiben lagen viel zu lange in der Karaffe und machten das Getränk bitter.) In der Nähe keine kostenfreien Parkplätze. Ein Parkhaus in der Nähe wird vom Personal empfohlen (Parkplatz pro Tag im September 2018: 7 €), dieses zu finden dauerte allerdings ein wenig.

The hotel is centrally located and in a safe neighbourhood. The hotel staff and especially the reception staff is very helpful, competent and friendly. The command of English is excellent. I wished all hotels had such a good reception.

juste pour vous informer qu'au moment de notre départ nous avons été surpris que l'on nous réclame en pus de la taxe de séjour une note de bar de 12euros Bien sur n'ayant rien consommé je n'ai rien payé il conviendrait au l'avenir que vous demandiez le nom voir même la CNI des personnes qui consomment plutôt je pense c'est ce qu'il s'est passé le numéro de chambre ., dans ce cas que la personne montre sa clef. j'avoue avoir été très agacée et très mécontente . c'est toujours désagréable de devoir démontrer que l'on est pas responsable. j
