Topclass hotel.
If ever in doubt - book this hotel. You arrive in the 1920’s deep charm and you just keep feeling wowed.. - the most beautiful hotel, stylish room, amazing garden, pool, view and not least outstanding restaurant. Breakfast is in top and even with Cava 🍾 Staff is very serviceminded and we will love to return.

Good service, great staff.
Nice room. Great pool. Breakfast and evening meal ok but overpriced. Very good service by excellent staff. Wi-Fi unreliable.

Panoramic views and delicious food.
Beautiful historic hotel with absolutely stunning views over Mount Teide on one side, and the beach / mountains on the other. The old furniture was very in-keeping with the architecture and it had been beautifully decorated for Christmas. The staff in the restaurant at breakfast and dinner were brilliant, though the same breakfast for a whole week got a bit repetitive - would have been nice to have had some more options or menu rotations. Dinner was amazing though. The food was lovely, and specials every day too. We ate there about 3 evenings and ate in town other evenings, and the hotel food was definitely some the best we ate on the whole holiday. The pool side is beautiful, and I had a massage one day, which was lovely (needs to be booked in advance). The hotel gardens were very pretty, with many different plants and cacti 🌵, and were very pleasant to stroll through. The location of the hotel right at the top of the cliff was fine for us, and a very good means of exercise to walk down to town and back up (phew! Leg muscles!) but for anyone with mobility issues, it might be a challenge. The Parador was a good base in San Sebastián to explore the rest of the island (the bus station is a 15 mins walk) and we’re glad we stayed there.

Fint hotell!
Helt fantastiskt hotell! Vacker byggnad och en mycket fin trädgård runt hotellet. Perfekt hotell om man vill varva ner och få lugn och ro. Lugnt att ligga vid poolen, som har en magisk utsikt över havet. Vi hade ett rum med en liten terrass som gränsade mot en mycket fin innergård. God mat och fin service på restaurangen, allra godaste var friterade bollar med karamelliserad lökkräm! Vi kommer absolut att åka hit igen!

Lovely room with a view of the harbour. Extensive grounds. The hotel felt quite dark and oppressive. The restaurant served the worst food we had on the island . When we complained it was shrugged off with no acknowledgement. Very disappointed as our first stay in our parador but very much overpriced and underrated. Overpriced

Good old times
The place is a bit worn down from its glory days, but still solid. The views are spectacular. Nice garden. Morning buffet 3,5 on this price range.

Mycket bra läge med fantastisk utsikt från den enastående trädgården. Stort standardrum, modernt badrum. Frukost med stort utbud. Hade gärna stannat längre.

Es un Hotel colonial muy lindo…. Todo estaba muy limpio y el personal muy amable. Tiene unas vistas de ensueño como todo lo que tiene la Gomera… que invita a Querer Repetir. Lo único que tengo que decir es que el aire acondicionado de nuestra habitación no funcionaba y nos dieron otra habitación para poder Dormir y en la parte del lava manos no tenía una opción para que bajara toda el agua que se acumulaba en el lavado. Fuera de eso todo muy lindo…. Me gustaría si regreso a la Gomera. Hospedarme en el Parador

Lovely Hotel
Wonderfull location overlooking the sea. Lovely room with a big bathroom and big bathtub. No kettle but we asked and one was brought to the room with cups & teabags. Booked a standard room but was given one with a patio door onto a small walkway and overlooking the sea and port. Nice outdoor pool. Lovely gardens and well looked after. A short walk to town and uphill on the way back! Had dinner in the restaurant which was very nice.

Un lugar muy agradable con bonitas vistas. Jardines, restaurante y zonas comunes muy cuidadas y con mucho encanto. Han tomado muchas medidas para prevención de covid 19.

Room with a view
Just such a beautiful place, feels like Colón just passed by... Architecture and deco.... And the green is precious. For the comfort and service it's decent, nothing spectacular.

Vistas impresionantes y hotel con encanto
Las habitaciones son cómodas aunque se están quedando viejas y la limpieza no está muy bien hecha. No hay café ni té en las habitaciones, lo que es una pena. El servicio en general es excelente, excepto la recepción por la noche que es realmente desagradable y no hace ningún esfuerzo (conseguir un simple champú fue una lucha). El restaurante es un poco caro pero correcto. Preciosa piscina y jardines bien cuidados. Volveremos.

Bel hôtel... en apparence
Les locaux sont très beaux, et les chambres spacieuses. On nous avait recommandé à plusieurs reprises cet endroit. Peut-être n'avons nous pas eu de chance, mais notre chambre n'était pas à la hauteur de ce que nous avions entendu et ce que nous espérions au vu du prix investi. Nous ne fréquentons que rarement des établissements de cette gamme et c'est pourquoi nous nous permettons ce commentaire. Nos sanitaires n'étaient pas propres (tâches jaunâtres sous la lunette) malgré les banderoles "sanitized" (collées un peu partout d'ailleurs). Également les produits cosmétiques mis à disposition dans la douche ne fonctionnaient pas tous correctement et certains mêmes présentantde la moisissure vers le pressoir. De plus, surprise à la fin de la douche de voir que celle-ci fuit et qu'il faut éponger le hall... et au moment de se coucher, de découvrir de petites fourmis dans les draps ! Dans d'autres hôtels que nous fréquentons habituellement nous n'aurions pas forcément relever ces points. Mais pour un 4 étoiles.. D'autre part, nous avons fréquenté le restaurant le soir. C'était bon mais sans plus. Le petit déjeuner était correct même si pas un énorme choix. Nous voulions nous faire plaisir en s'offrant un bon hôtel durant notre périple entre les différentes iles, mais nous ne réitererons pas la chaine Parador qui nous a vraiment déçues.

El parador es muy bonito pero necesita que se restauren las instalaciones. Sobre todo las camas eran muy incómodas y ruidosas.

To enjoy..
A wonderful six days at La Gomera Parador. Everything we hoped for, lovely staff. A real pleasure to stay there. If you read any negative comments about the parking, just not true - was easy-peasy. Location, high up (about 70 mts) on a promontory, overlooking the port and the town was great - but the steepness did mean a 10 minute walk down the switchback hill and a 15 minute return uphill walk. Breakfast thoroughly recommended as is the swimming pool

L'endroit est vraiment charmant mais le personnel n'est pas tres souriant ni chaleureux. Ce qui refroidit l'ambiance et n'invite pas à profiter du restaurant ou du bar. Surtout à la piscine personnel médiocre.

The charm of La Gomera Parador
What a fantastic Parador! Perched high on the cliffs above San Sebastian, this Parador descreetly commands a stonking view on 3 sides of the hotel, the swimming pool being on the edge. Fabulous. The staff were all lovely, attentive and efficient. The rooms were extremely clean with lots of sanitisation seals on high touch objects (remove control, clothes hangers etc). The decor of the place is really charming and tasteful. Lots of little books, crannies and Salons to loose yourself in a good book. Very romantic to boot. So don't hesitate.
