No one met us and wouldn't answer their phone so couldn't get in. We were on the sidewalk for ages trying to sort out alternative accommodation. Absolutely horrible experience!!!

Two Room Studio Near Central Park
Great location!! Very convenient to Cathedral of St. John the Divine as well as Central Park. Spacious for the area, two room studio with basic pots, pans and a few necessary cooking utensils. No dish drying rack or dish cloth (or brush) though, and only one dish towel. Would have rated the cleanliness higher if I hadn't found used coffee in the coffee pot. The steam heat was great! Brought back good memories of a time long past. Thank you for making this apt a part of my very enjoyable stay in NYC!

NOT a Hotel
The rental is from a landlord for use of a studio apartment on 2nd floor of apartment building. His agent meets you with key (call well in advance). No hotel amenities (e.g., couldn't check bag on last day), not sure why it is included on this site. Could be nice to have kitchen facilities (though I didn't use them). Site was clean but did have the occasional ant and fly. Location was to be near friend; very little happening in neighborhood. Be sure to take into account the $70 cleaning fee post-departure (again, not a hotel with maid service).
