Our stay was great! Everything was very smooth. We upgraded to the preferred side and had a pool dedicated just to that side which was nice if you didn’t want to be around the music from the other pool. Would definitely recommend and will be back!

I liked my butler. But My rooms door was broken, The toilet didn’t work and there was no hot water. I had to bring it up to managements attention several times and I booked vip the best room in the resort.

The resort was very nice. We stayed at the preferred side with an ocean view, and the view was really beautiful. The preferred access also allowed us to visit the breathless hotel and rooftop bar, which was also stunning. The staff were friendly, some more than others. The food options were good- buffet style breakfast and lunch and some restaurants with a preset menu for lunch and dinner. The entertainment team did a good job and it was nice to have activities during the day and evening. Despite the recent US travel ban, we felt completely safe. We also went off the resort for an excursion and didn’t feel worried. You just need to exercise usual travel precautions such as being aware of your surroundings, not being too flashy, and arranging transportation with known people. All in all, we had a great time and would return.

Lots of poolside or beach opportunities to soak up the sun. Different foods to choose and all good. Amenities and activities available. Load blowers cleaning outside first floor room daily made for early wake ups. Could not make reservations at restaurants and one that you could 4 days in advance wasn’t early enough. Having a pool floater was almost none existent as people hoarded them. And getting a lounger by the pool get towels night before and throw on lounger at 6am if you want your spot. And same hoarding with umbrella by the pool.

Great resort but it is ridiculous that you have to get up at 6AM to reserve a chair for the pool and a good spot on the beach. We have never been to a resort with this issue that was this bad. Something needs to change.

This was our third trip to Jamaica and second to Montego Bay. Pros: - The buffet is good - The gym has every machine imaginable - The staff is lovely - Pretty grounds - Good beaches - Great views Cons: - The "save your beach seat with a towel" culture that is so prevalent at these resorts (not unique to this one). I want to be on vacation and not fighting over space at the beach. - The bars run out of normal ingredients (soda) sometimes. It happens! Not a huge deal. - The specialty restaurants aren't spectacular (except for the service). - Not a big salad bar selection. This was a much better experience than we've had at previous resorts. Recommend.
