Second time I stayed here. Folks are nice and the rooms were clean. Very quiet in mid-September. Beach egress is right across the street and the pool looked nice although we didn't use it. Short drive to get to restaurants and shopping. Good value.

They take very good care of the property. Rooms are good. Only issue was the floors were a bit sandy. Air conditioner broke and they repaired it promptly.

Clean, comfortable, no-frills hotel in Holgate.
Convenient to the beach and ice cream. :-) A short car or bike ride into Beach Haven where all the action is.

We enjoyed our stay at Sea Spray Motel. We enjoyed swimming in the pool and the beach was only steps away. The staff was very kind and helpful. It was nice to have a small kitchen in the efficiency.

We love the family atmosphere at Sea Spray! The guests understand the children's "noise" and everyone always seems relaxed. the staff is incredibly attentive to guest needs and requests. the grounds, pool, rooms, and grills are maintained daily. We will be back next year!

Superb Short Stay
The rooms were big. It was nice to have a mini fridge and microwave in the room. Very nice value for the price for a short stay on the island. Lots of things to do on property - swimming, ping pong, foosball, basketball, grills. Close to Fantasy Island and quick access to the beach

Great old school motel
Super clean, old-school LBI motel. Excellent beach access with free beach badges. Great picnic area and nice heated pool. Rooms are basic but clean and spacious. Beds comfortable.

The pool is relatively new and clean. It rained the 4 days we visited LBI so we were in the room a lot. The air conditioner did not cool the room. We told the front desk and someone came and looked at it but it made no difference. I loved the cleaning crew of teen boys. They are personable, kind, and do a great job. They arrived early each day to clean the room, usually while we were out in the morning. I will definitely return!

Clean, modern accommodations, friendly staff, easy check-in and out. Located in a quiet area of Holgate, a block walk to the beach, bay, and bike rental/ice cream stand :) Short drive to Bay Village and great restaurants.

The staff and management were accommodating and courteous. We found it difficult to get into the pool. The floors in the room seemed dirty and sticky. The bathtub was slippery. I never used the tub as a result. We are both older and I am a fall risk.

Lovely pool and clean property. Rooms need a big upgrade. Poor plumbing and no on site cleaning. They have a service but unreliable. Staff not friendly and not helpful. Very expensive for what they offer.

The location of the Sea Spray was just what we wanted, close to the beach and quiet. Restaurants and shopping short drive or bike ride away. Staff was friendly and the room was very clean. Price was right.

This hotel was very well maintained, very clean and comfortable and quiet. Its only steps from the beach so you can't beat the location. Parking is free and plentiful. The amenities are quite nice too - beautiful pool, BBQ grills, games for the kids, etc. The staff are very friendly and helpful. So glad we found the Sea Spray Motel and we'll definately be back.

Gross hotel, rude management
Checked in with my small kids and they gave us a room that stunk of cigarettes. Went to the manager and he said there was nothing he could do as there was no vacancies (while not being super nice about it). After I broke down crying trying to find a new place, he “felt bad” and mysteriously found me an available room. Hotel was dirty, not up to par, and the manager was rude. I’ll never stay here again and definitely don’t recommend

They really do a wonderful job of keeping the property clean and up to date. They were very helpful and accommodating. I only wish they would get new mattresses. The mattresses are hard as a rock, and extremely uncomfortable.

Overall it was a pretty good stay. The motel itself could use a makeover or at least a paint job. Other than that, it was super close to the beach. Pool was good.

Easy walk to the beach. Bike rental close by. The pool is a plus and the outdoor BBQ area was nice to have and clean.

We/ve been coming to LBI for years, this is our first (but won't be the last) visit south of Beach Haven. 1 block from the beach (as in, cross the street in front, and then find the path to the beach), quiet nights, 1 mile from all the activity / food you might want, great room (we had a stove, fridge, microwave, plates, cups, utensils) - so we could have cooked in, or, used one of the grills and ate at a picnic table by the pool. Pool was warm and clean, workers are very nice. walking distance to breakfast in the morning and ice cream at night. Just a wonderful visit, great place to stay. Well worth the money spent.
