Schloss Hotel is always dynamite. Been staying here since 2003...hasn't skipped a beat. Great food, and even better setting in nature, and a very fair price. Highly recommended!

Old World Charm

Excellent "old-style" hotel. Service is very accommodating and staff attentive. Very clean rooms and restaurant. Breakfast has a nice choice of hot and cold items, fruits, cereal and yogurt.

The property is very beautiful and well kept. While the sound buffering between the rooms wasn't optimal, the hotel was relatively quiet. The homes were nice and clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. The restaurant onsite was excellent with more dining options close by!! The location was perfect for my trip.

Quaint, authentic German hotel to stay in in the heart of landstuhl. Comfy beds. Convenient parking, nice cozy bar, and it was easy for me to request a taxi to go to k town when I didn’t want to drive. Front desk isn’t always manned so you may have to walk to bar for room key. Would stay again!

Beautiful hotel nestled in the forest near the Nanstein castle ruins. There are walkways all around. The restaurant has limited hours as does the front desk. The room had the typical German amenities and decoration. I stayed in a single room so I wasn't expecting much room. The staff was friendly.

The free breakfast is a major " "! Loved the peace and quiet. Disliked the shower situation; just install a proper shower cabin and do away with that half open/closed bathtub area thing that leaves water all over the bathroom floor.

This hotel has no air conditioning. Fans are usually fine for Europe, but the room only had a table fan. The shower was so small, turning around turned the water off. The hotel is near trails, Nanstein Castle, and Landstuhl Regional Medical Center. Breakfast was excellent, and staff was kind. This stay would be more tolerable in the winter.

Facilities were great, dinner was fabulous. One suggestion is that the facility should offer fans in the room for air circulation as air conditioning is not available. Also replace the under performing down pillows.
