A small but very comfortable nicely decorated room, very clean, comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Great location with easy parking and short walk to restaurants, etc. Tilcarra is a great village to base yourself in from which to explore the surrounding region. Great hikes in the area. We stayed 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our experience.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, going out of their way to help us get an early morning taxi last minute. Wouldn’t have made our flight without them.

Serviceable with some room for improvement
We were charmed by the pictures of the room, but in real life they were a little less charming. The first room we were shown was across from a furnace which emitted a smell of gas and periodically buzzed. We asked and were moved. The new room had a street-facing window, which at least helped to air out the very strong detergent scent of the linens. The shades do not really block out morning light, though. The bulbs on all the lamps produces a very harsh light at night similar to compact fluorescents, which was unfortunate. The rooms were small and basic but otherwise serviceable and clean. We only stayed on night, which was probably for the best. The staff was very friendly.

Agradable lugar. Desayuno elemental. Higiene muy buena. Muy buena predisposición de las empledas. Habitacion sencilla pero comoda. Todo funciona bien, el aa, la tele, el telefono.

No sé si la culpa es de hoteles.com o del establecimiento pero yo pagué uss 214 por dos noches en norte rupestre y este hotel me dijo que no podía cumplir con mi reserva ya pagada porque no tenían lugar y me mandaron a otro lugar de calidad muy inferior y lo único que puedo hacer es presentar un reclamo mediante este comentario, gracias

Buenas tardes, antes qué nada le pido mil disculpas por ésta situación, no tenemos explicación porqué razón se abrió en el portal la habitación a la venta cuando estaba cerrada. Lo único qué conseguimos para poder alojarlo es el lugar al qué fue, sentimos que no haya sido de su agrado. Si usted regresa tendremos una atención especial. Lo saludo muy cordialmente!!

Take care: no parking space!
The hotel itself is nice and comfortable. What I did not like is that this hotel is advertised with having parking opportunities. This is not true. I had to park my motorcycle outside on the street, because no secure parking is available.

El personal amable. El baña malo. Estaba tapado el receptáculo de la ducha y el agua (de todos los grifos) salia poca y de pronto una barbaridad, golpeando y salpicando todo. El Wifi en la habitación fue imposible

Fijn, knus en gezellig hotel in Tilcara.
Absolute aanrader om te verblijven in tilcara. Knus en fijn hotel met ontzettend vriendelijk personeel. Ze spreken enkel Spaans, maar met handen en voeten kom je er wel uit. Mooie kamers, lekker koel in de hete woestijn. Leuk binnenplaatsje en prima ontbijt. Erg goed verblijf!

Hotel lindo y con muy buen gusto
El lugar es encantador y autentico. El hotel aclimatado al lugar con un estilo rustico pero limpio y muy buen gusto. En la ciudad muy buenos lugares pata comer comidas típicas. Por otro lado complicado el uso de tarjetas de crédito o débito en los negocios y la banda ancha para comunicarse bastante pobre.

La atencion fue excelente por parte del personal. mas alla de que nos hayan vendido (x internet) una hab la cual no tenia los servicios correspondientes. El resto excelente. Recomendable pero asesorarse previamente.

Agradable hotel pero lejos del centro.
hotel sencillo, agradable, personal atento, desayuno sencillo pero bueno, habitación pequeña con cama muy grande y comoda. Problema, lejos del centro, unas ocho cuadras, pero en subida, de modo que regresar y tener que trepar por las calles de Tilcara no es lo que prefiero.

Vale a pena.
Bom hotel, estilo rústico e charmoso, bela decoração, jardim interno muito bonito. Café da manhã não muito variado, mas servido à vontade. Quarto muito limpo, porém um pouco apertado, assim como o banheiro. Meu único problema foi com a cortina, pois era um pouco difícil de manejar com as janelas (o modo de abrir de cada um era incompatível) e a cama prendia as cortinas; tive dificuldade com ela. O hotel fica a uma distância suficiente da agitação do centro mas que possibilita fazer tudo a pé dentro da cidade (lojas, bares, penas, restaurantes).

Nette Hosteria mit gemütlichem, kleinen Garten
Das "Hotel Rupesti" ist eine Hosteria, mit einfach eingerichteten, sauberen Zimmern, fussläufig in die kleine City. Es gibt keine Balkone an den Zimmern, dafür einen kleinen, gemütlichen Garten. Parkmöglichkeiten sind - entgegen der Beschreibung - nicht vorhanden. Geparkt wird auf der Strasse. Das Personal spricht kein englisch. Daher ist auch eine Verständigung zur z. B. Tourenplanung für nicht spanisch sprechende Gäste sehr schwierig. Im Garten, direkt vor den Zimmerzugängen, befindet sich die Wasserpumpe, was - insbesondere in der Nacht - für geräuschempfindliche Gäste - störend ist, weil sie regelmäßig bei Wassernutzung von einem der Zimemr anspringt.

Pretty bu flawed
Pretty hotel but the room was so small only one of us could walk around at a time. We never saw the owner but the staff were very nice. For the money et would of hoped for a boiled egg or something for breakfast instead of the ubiquitous biscuits. They did not have another room for our third night so we got one opposite the bus station. It was a third of the price worked just as well. We didn't,t have to walk all the way up hill with our luggage. It was not as pretty but work better for us.

En annenledes hotelloppøevelse i spesielle omgivelser, liten landsby i pitoreske omgivelser. Den som ikke forventer storby hotell og talmi enteriør har her funnet stedet sitt på 2500 m. h. o. h. Heldøngs lukket ytterdør og dårlig fungrende dørlås må man kunne overse. Klimaanlegget kan ikke bedømmes, ikke behov for under oppholdet. Frokost alseptabelt, ikke europeisk stanard. Prismessig alt i alt o. k., ikke noe røverkjøp.

First night hotel was full. We had a room so small we had no room to unpack. Next day moved to a good room. Don't stay if they give you the small room unless you get a big discount .
