The Earls Court Station was a 5min walk away, there you could use the picadilly and circle line to reach almost everywhere in London. There were also multiple bus stations. Near the station were pubs and cafes (local aswell as Starbucks etc). A ~10min walk away was a large supermarket. I had a singles room and it was super clean and the design was very nice. Tv, big bed aswell as a safe and small refrigerator.Thrre was a Tea Station with 3differnt teas and also instant coffee and hot chocolate. The bathroom was on the smaller side.
One of the best decision I have made for this first trip to London is to book St Marks Hotel despite some negative reviews given. I think those reviews were before the hotel was renovated. Beautiful room with wonderful stuff at the reception. They accommodated to my request for a room with windows and good luggage space so am really appreciative. Location is excellent, not too near to the busy be noisy main road but very walkable to Earls Court station which is a station which has a few lines to bring you to many parts of London. Will definite stay here again when visiting London in future and will recommend to others too.
The hotel is completely renovated and only 5 minutes walk from Earl's court metro and bus station. There are a lot of dining options around it. Ibram at reception was very kind and helpful.
Downside: Rooms are on the smaller side.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Location is excellent it’s just 2 minutes walk to the underground station, lots of shops around the hotel as well, but I have to say I was staying in top floor and there is no lift, I would give 5.5 out of 10
Location is the only positive , only there 1 night to watch Chelsea be very disappointed if I was staying longer. Don’t want to be rude needs a bit of love and attention as not a good advertisement for London and tourism. Breakfast was chaotic in such a small room with many guests descending and no where to sit. We felt rushed so had minimal breakfast and left , staff were attentive and replenished well. I would not usually comment but it was still £100 a night (which you could say we are staying in London!). Hopefully take this review as constructive and decorate and remove mould from bathroom.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, room comfort
Beds good, rest not so good.
The beds get 10 out 10 but it goes down hill from there. The room was a reasonable size but was very hot, the wall fan was noisy and not very effective . The showeroom was good size but shaving light did not work and the shower was quite weak, the shower gel sachets were difficult to open. The breakfast was a joke, nothing continental about it, warm orange juice, nasty white bread to toast, instant coffee, boil your own kettle, and the breakfast room was so small there is a limit of 15 minutes to try and get and eat breakfast, not good at all.
Concierge during my check in was abrupt & a £100 deposit for one night stay that cost £52-56 is extortionate, especially for a basement room. I got there after 3pm and left 7:20am the next morning. The room was styled very nicely but it only took closer look to notice markings, stains on the bedding and scratches on the walls.
The bed was comfy and the room smelt nice. Very noisy at night, you can hear a lot if you’re on the basement floor which means it can be quite restless at night. Hopefully a different level would be a nicer experience
Given the noticeable revamp of the hotel, it’s expected that things may not be top shape. The socket covers in the room were a little loose and I’d had to hold the full thing when plugging & unplugging items. The whole time I was paranoid that I’d make any sort of noise and disturb other visitors & not get my deposit back so I could not get comfortable at all.
Due to the abruptness of the concierge when I got there & the deposit amount which I didn’t see when I booked. I didn’t feel comfortable telling any staff that I wasn’t happy with the conditions. I have a bad feeling I won’t get my deposit back due to problems that were there before I got into the room.
I hate to complain about anything but I do wish that my experience there was a lot better. Hopefully it was just a one off.

A quiet relaxing hotel. The room was basic but clean. Very close to plenty of dining options. A twenty minute walk from the Museums in South Kensington.
Had a lovely room with a beautiful bay window. It was probably the best room in the hotel 💙 I will definitely consider it for future work trips to London 😁
Great Location. Good transport options.
Property itself is very poor, not clean, not modern. It’s more like a college dorm room feel. Bathroom wasn’t clean either.

Disliked: Amenities
It was lovely and clean but the toilet was leaking each time it flushed. Good value though considering.
A great location, but let down by scruffy rooms and dirty communal areas.
Needs new carpet, a lick of paint, and a damn good clean.
The bed in our room had a knackered mattress that boinged when you moved due to the springs being shot.
A shame, as the staff were generally friendly and helpful.

Budget very basic hotel. There was no hot water so had to boil kettle to fill sinknto have a wash. There was furniture falling apart in the room and the shower head was covered in limescale
This hotel is the most disgusting place I’ve seen worse than a prison cell I couldn’t even stay the night waiting for refund they had an airfresher can as door stop wouldn’t recommend staying here ever if u want to stay in a room of hell
