I would have given higher rating for property condition but my room had an awful smell from the bathroom - smelt like something burning or stale smoke, my cloths even smelt after I left the property ( or could have been the smell stayed with me) the day prior to this I was in a different room and everything was perfect, so not an overall bad image of the hotel. I would definitely stay again

Very nice hotel but a little way into the town, property could undergo a facelift as a little dated now compared to others, but still a good nice hotel in a safe location

We had some very noisy youngsters running up and down the corridor and slamming doors, which was a bit of a nuisance.

Stayed for just one night. The hotel was spotlessly clean and everything worked as it should. It's showing its age in a few places but nothing serious. TV setup was excellent - having Chromecast meant we could watch iplayer and YouTube (etc) on the large 50" screen. Breakfast was very good. As the hotel was quiet, the hot food was cooked to order rather than sitting around getting cold. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location is functional, being on a major interchange next to a retail park.

Decor and carpets need a refresh but this didnt take away anything from our stay. Staff excellent and buffet breakfast was very good

Nice few days stay
It accessibility of the Hotel is really good. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Pillows weren't soft enough for me but the bed was comfy. Room facilities were good.

Worth staying here
The staff were lovely, very informative and thorough on check in. The room was very spacious and clean. And we had A great view of the lake in the morning. Plenty to see and do around the hotel so you’ll never get bored!

Overall the staff at the dinner function I attended were superb, room over rated, and expensive & bathroom needed painting, wardrobe doors creak when opening, bed is comfortable, view of lake was limited and view from bedroom window showed large roof below which had several missing tiles …. Needs repair. Breakfast ok limited vegetarian choice only beans / tomatoes toast etc. check in ! Takes along time … check out excellent

Comfortable bedroom……that’s it.
Room comfortable, evening meal limited and not great , breakfast very poor. Bacon and beans were stone cold (fridge cold), toaster would just warm the bread no matter how long it stayed in, quite poor and will not stop again.
