Beaches!! Beaches are the best around the area. I wish I could stay longer, but I couldn't because of mattresses and food. Mattresses are the Nightmare, I came back home with backpain. Food seems made of high quality products, but it is not tasty at all plus it cause heartburn. Maybe something has to be done with chef.

Nunca vi um hotel tão barulhento. Impossível dormir ! Crianças gritando, portas batendo, adultos gritando pelos corredores de madrugada ! A comida muito ruins , ingredientes de baixa qualidade, pratos péssimos, vinhos que deixam a desejar . Os funcionários eram atenciosos, mas só isso. Nosso quarto ficava no andar 1 , péssimo, na reserva constava que haveria um sofá que também não apareceu !

The hotel’s facilities were nice and clean and the personnel continually were cleaning the common areas, where it was obligatory (fortunately!) the use of masks. They all were nice, corteous and always willing to help. To avoid any potential infections, at the restaurant, one can’t serve his own food, this is done by the personnel of the restaurant and the use of masks is, theoretically obligatory, but we did spot a couple of people wearing nothing. For the restaurant, there were shifts but even though, sometimes we had to wait to be able to reduce the amount of people standing in line to get to the buffet. The food served in the buffet was tasty, but unfortunately there is no variety, so all meals are pretty much the same everyday. The children’s area looked nice, we only passed it by it, because it was not only full, but nobody was observing any distancing upon waiting to use the zipline or the slides. We had a couple of small issues, which we were not very happy with: in our room we were given a tiny soap bar, which after two days was over, and no replenishment was done at all, we had to use the soap we brought. Also, nobody explains that if you’d like towels for the pool, you need to give a 10euro deposit per towel or that you have to pay a deposit to get the control remote of the tv in the room. In summary, it was a very good stay and a recommendable place to have vacation even in these crazy times

Close to the beach - huge pools, love the 24-hour food service and nibbles. Overall a great location and resort. Food was excellent.

Liked - good food and proximity to beach. Disliked - long queses at reception, key cards had to be constanty revalidated, reception staff unfriendly, hesitant to help, disorganised.

The food was absolutely fantastic and there was a wide variety. Plenty to do on the property for kids. The beach is lovely and secluded, and was fairly quiet. Staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. We had an amazing holiday!

Great value for money
Were there for a 5-day trip. The facilities like the pools, gym, activities for kids and evening shows etc are very well organised. Nice beaches around 3-5 walk. Excellent service by the staff. Would go there again.

Hotel is really great and nice. Everywhere nice staff. The beach is just ca. 5 minutes walk away (with a 3 years old child walk speed 🙈). Really like that place and also the hidden beaches. Can recommend this place

Lovely surroundings, well kept. Plenty of places to sit and swim. Food very good, although having to queue when coach parties were brought in didn t go down very well. The different restaurants were not open all week either. The outside dining was an option ,which was lovely. The children’s clubs during the day was a bit hit and miss. On the whole a good holiday.

This was a great holiday spot for our family, especially my 5-year-old boy. He loved the Kid's Club, pool and water slides. It is in a great location with a short walk to amazing beaches. The biggest drawback was the dining selection -- after a few days we were very tired of the same items on the buffet. It would have been nice to have a few more options in the all-inclusive package.

Bestillte oppholdet i god tid (7 mnd) før avreise for å være sikker på å få det hotellet og beliggenheten vi ville ha. Betalte for havutsikt. To dager før avreise fikk jeg telefon om at pga tekniske problemer var vi var flyttet til et hotell 10 km lenger øst. Vi reiste sammen med venner og ville selvfølgelig bo i samme område som de. Etter mye frem eg tilbake fikk vi et hotell ca 1 km ifra. Det lå nede i et søkk og hadde ikke havutsikt og vi opplevde hotellet som mørkt og innestengt. Maten sto heller ikke til forventningene. Ferien ble absolutt ikke som forventet.

Ubicación ideal en zona tranquila
Ubicado en una localizacion tranquila fuera del bullicio de la ciudad es un lugar muy recomendado para aquellas personas que quieran pasar una estancia de relax. Puedes hacer vida en el hotel pues cada 30 min hay actividades en una de las piscinas, la otra piscina es para estar relajado separado de la zona de juegos. La playa está a escasos 5 min a pie, Señora da Rocha y Cova Redonda, ambas conectadas por un pasadizo entre las cuevas. El hotel principalmente está orientado a familias con hijos pero igualmente puedes acudir en pareja como hice yo. Personal educado y atento, habitaciones limpias y amplias, la comida buena aunque no mucha variedad. Existen dos restaurantes estilo buffet y tres más, pero estos tres son de pago con un descuento por ser huésped. Existen distintos bares y snacks. En ambas piscinas existen un bar donde sirve únicamente bebidas, también hay un snack bar pero donde sirven comida 24h pero debes consumirla dentro no puedes llevarla a las tumbonas. Existe una discoteca-teatro y todas las noches hay actuaciones. Las actividades que se realizan son para pequeños y mayores: aquagym, crosfit, waterpolo, volleyball, dance, zumba...

Great complex for families with kids.
First time ever wrote a review. Having stayed at a number of First Choice Holiday Villages all of which have been great we thought we would try a similar type of Hotel from another chain on our first trip to Portugal. 3 days in and already looking at possibly coming back in July time when the weather is better. Great hotel for families. Only criticism so far is the rain which the Hotel can’t help. Lovely little beach aswell

Bright, modern, comfortable, all-inclusive hotel.
We stayed as a party of 3 in two lateral sea view double rooms. Delightfully, there was no charge for under-occupation. Each room was spacious and well equipped with modern furnishings and tv and a sparklingly clean bathroom. The rooms were attentively serviced with cleaning and towel change each day. A wifi connection was available at 15 euro per week. Speed and reliability proved good. Hotel Reception was warm and helpful, with several languages at the command of staff (certainly Portuguese, English, French, German, Dutch and Spanish - maybe others too) . Food was very varied and of extremely high quality. Several restaurants were not available because our stay was not in high season. This mattered little since two very spacious restaurants were in operation together with a pool side bar and snack facilities - overall, offering a 24 hour service. The ground floor breakfast restaurant (Buffet 1) tended to be noisy and humid, but experience in selecting a table largely overcame this. The Buffet 2 restaurant which we always took for evening dinner was a delight. In every food facility and bar, the service and table clearance was very efficient and staff always helpful, polite and friendly. The pools, poolside and lawned areas were maintained to a high standard and kept scrupulously clean. Loungers were comfortable and very numerous, but well spaced..Shade was sometimes a little hard to find. Overall, the say was virtually faultless. Highly recommended.

Good hotel 300m from a lovely sandy beach.
Suited to young families, with 2 good sized pools and smaller children's pools. 2 well run restaurants with additional snack bar. Staff are very helpful and are constantly tending to duties. I would recommend if you are looking for sun, sea and relaxation. If you are keen on site-seeing then hire a car or go to a larger town/city. The hotel has plenty of activities running throughout the day but this is not always well posted so make sure you ask the staff for details.

Lovely hotel. Very clean restaurants and rooms!! Food was brill something for everyone. Only fault during our stay would be lack of info on arrival. staff were amazing, they did well considering they were waiters/childcare/entertainment all in one day!!

Hotel with good facilities and friendly staff
Enjoyable stay with good food, comfortable rooms and entertainment provided in the hotel. You could either relax and unwind in comfortable surroundings or take part in activities provided.
